Hello all! Welcome to the Terra Pard sanctuary - home to the non-winged pards. The terra outlines are by Aiwa (much love for the Aiwa), the nitemare/pardzelle/'zelle crosses were drawn by yours truly. All of the terra pards are interbreedable with the winged type (probably why they both lay eggs, neh?) and breeding is available at either shop.

Hey, just a little announcement to make:
Aster and I have registered our own domain name, www.3pagans.com (yay!), so we're clearing our stuff off the old one, www.infinitybase.net , which is Brit's site and you should all visit it At some point, 3pagans may also be a webcomic and/or something completely different. ^_^
So, now we're waiting for the e-check to clear, and finals to end, so if the graphics around here are a little iffy (i.e. GONE AS HELL), that's why. When everything is set up again and spiffy, there will be a small party. At this party, I shall request that everyone wear their tiny hats and noisemakers. I'll see what i can do about party favors ^_^

How To Get A Pard
1. NO PM'S. Requests through PM will be rejected.
2. If there is a limited edition available, please post and lay claim! If there is not a limited edition available (as there usually isn't) keep a lookout for auction threads! Owners often will auction off their pard's offspring, and it's probably your best bet.
3. Start a trade for the amount of purchase, to whoever you're getting the pard from. If you pay me over, I keep the extra as tips heart
4. The trade must be recieved 7 days after comfirmation. If it is not recieved you will not receive a Certificate, and if you have the creature in your signature without contacting me you will be considered a thief. If for some reason you can't pay right away, for the love of Pete, PM me! I can usually work something out.

BREEDING
There are four pard and four gryphon hatchieries currently available. Breeding fee is 300g, please post the pictures of the two pards you wish to breed! I can't guarantee the delivery will be instant, but we'll get them out to you soon. Please remember that for any egg/pard you auction or sell that was bred here, the colorist gets 10% of the sale price. Breedings may be unique/unique or unique/edition, but may not be edition/edition. Pards must wait one week after being bred at EITHER shop to be available to breed again. Both breeding lists are currently CLOSED, but will be open very soon!

For me.... I want a nightmare pard... *thinks* uhm.... definatley a black base... actually i'm VERY open with what I get here - hrmmm... How about I give you some color potentials and you just have fun heart deifinately black with gray, with burgandy, red, and white ^_^

I love my friend, hehe..she gives me the best ideas when I'm stuck. For my pard, I'd definitely like a nitemare one, with a black-with-gold color scheme (Egyptian-like, y'know?). Other than that, go right ahead and do as you please. Male, of course, since he's nitemare.

I think I'd like a female nightmare pard if I may... with lots of white and gold... black is ok too if its too weird having a white nightmare pard. ^_^;; I'm going to name her Childlike Empress (like from Neverending Story) if I can, so if you want to use that as inspiration go for it. Designs, sparkly bits, whatever. ^_^ Not overly picky, I'm sure it will be groovy regardless.

*thionks again* Go crazy, do whatever you want to it.. maybe just with deep reds, deep purples, silver, black.. or go really light with colours, all pastel ^_^ I'm realyl quite happy no matter what, the only thing I really badly want is some sort of marking on/around its eye. **Artist's Note: female nm**

Id like the seperately colored part of the wing to be a somewhat pale purple fading into a rich blood red... The main color of the fur should be black... and with orange and yellow swirly markings... Im going for a sort of "sunset" look If possible, Id like it if the markings could fade from orange to yellow at the tips of the swirls... I'd love it if the orange was similar to the color of Amber Dawn (she's on my sig page)... And I just have one specific marking request... That a yellow/orange stripe sort of thing go across the eye that shows... Almost like Scar from the Lion King xD Does that make sense and stuff?
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I breed two winged pards together here?
Yes, you certainly can. Pards of either variety may be bred at the TPS, and do not neccessarily have to include a terra pard in the breeding. They must still be legal breedings (unique/unique or unique/series, but not series/series).
2. How do I get a pard?
Auctions are set up by the TPS, at Britain's Aviary, and by owners who have had their pards bred. Winning any of these auctions will get you a pard. Also, the TPS and Britain's Aviary set out limited edition (series) pards every so often, and even hold raffles for the entire edition! Also, a pard may be given as a gift, or as part of an arrangement: owners have been known to breed their pards spefically to give the eggs to friends, or even helped each other bid on an auction with the agreement that the person who helped gets an egg from the winner.
3. Where are these gryphons coming from? How do I get those?
The gryphons started out as gifts for friends, and a couple of customs, and to date one edition has been sold. You get gryphons the same way as pards, mainly: bidding on eggs from a recent breeding, getting part of a limited edition, or bidding on an auction the store has set up. Every so often I'll pick a number of spaces to open up for customs, but this is very rare.
4. Can Gryohons and Pards interbreed?
No, but Gryphons may interbreed with Wyverns, found at the Rift, which is run by Aster. The offspring of such a union will be either full wyverns or full gryphons, not a half-breed of any type.
5. How many eggs come in a breeding?
All of them. Next question?
Just kidding. Each breeding results in 2-4 eggs, so that at the very least there is one egg for each pard involved. Once in a long while you will see a breeding that produces 5 eggs - this is very rare, and usually means that the shop owners are working with limited stock, but want to get as many out as posible. A breeding will never go over 5 eggs.
6. So I've got these eggs.... How do I sell them?
Any way you'd like. You may sell them at a flat rate, you may auction them, you may give them away as gifts or prizes. If you sell them in a way that generates revenue, the Sanctuary is entitled to 10% of the gold.
7. How long do I have to sell them?
You may take 4-5 days to sell an unhatched egg, but after it has hatched you have 24hours (one day) in which you may sell it. After that, the pard is YOURS, unless given away for free to someone.
8. I bought a pard, but now I don't want it. I don't want to give it away either. What do I do?
For a series pard, you may sell it back to the TPS for a full refund of what you payed for it. It will then be auctioned off, and all gold will go to the TPS. For an unique pard, you may sell it to the TPS for 3000g, and it will then still be auctioned off and all gold will go to the TPS.
9. I want a pard/gryphon, but I am very poor, or I am never online during your auctions. What can I do?
Talk to me. It's very possible I will be able to reschedule a future auction to suit your time frame, post a newbie auction, or reserve a limited edition pard. You'll never know if you never ask.
10. What is an Event Pard?
An event pard is a special pard that is given away/sold to mark a special event. Britain gave event pards to everyone who posted on the 77th page of the Aviary - because 7 is her lucky number. Halloween Pards will be auctioned once a day the week of Halloween. Also, something special is rumored to happen on Easter - wait and see.
11. What happens if I try and sell a pard that I have no claim to/steal your art?
You get communally flogged, first off. I'm happy to say that the pards are known well enough that it's terribly unlikely you could sell them if you tried - especially since the only ones you'd have access to are the ones already belonging to someone. Seriously, though, after the flogging you'll go on the Black List, which will ban you from all pard-related shops (Here, the Aviary, the Rift, the Verlashi Clangrounds - you get the idea.).

I don't like to have this section. If it were up to me, it wouldn't exist, because it wouldn't be needed. Here is the list.
