CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Name: Minomoto Aki.
Nicknames: Aki-chan, Miss Away, A, A-hime (Sonkun only), imoto, mouse.
Age: 20 (looks MUCH younger).
Ethnicity: Japanese, ?.
Eyes: Deep red. It's extremely hard to tell what she's thinking; her eyes don't betray anything.
Hair: Very light blonde, an inch or two past her shoulders, and cut jaggedly. (She has bangs as long as her hair for years until they are cut short by her daughter, and you can draw either; see ref pics for details). She nearly always keeps her hair back in two short, spikey, and low pigtails.
Weight: 72 pounds.
Height: 4'11".
Build: She is short, tiny, and thin; bust-size a. Because she stands pidgeon-toed and with bad posture - she tends to slouch a little bit backwards - it only makes her seem even more twiggy.
Peculiarities/Distinguishing marks: Two very bad scars; one across her chest, from just below her left collar bone down to near her right armpit, and one on both sides of her left arm from between her middle and ring fingers to the middle of her arm. Another weird habit of hers is that, while she speaks only Japanese, she tends to speak it in male or vulgar form (i.e., "boku" instead of "atashi" and "omae" instead of "anata" wink . She's left-handed. Also, she's.. quite pale.
Accessories: Wears a ball-chain necklace and a silver band on her left ring finger. Her shikigami (spirit familiar) is also nearly always with her; a large black cat named 'Kuro'.
Notes: Aki is an insomniac; she doesn't like sleeping, and sometimes will go for days without doing so. So, she tends to have a bit of darkness around her eyes.

Likes: Sonkun, her cats, sushi, tea, air conditioning, orange soda from McDonalds
Dislikes: Sleeping, Jukan, being called 'Imouto', anyone who messes with her small group, dogs, hot weather, obnoxiously bright anythings

Personality: Overall, Aki's personality is 'disinterested'. She often may seem cold or uncaring because she's either not paying attention or brutally honest. However, she is fiercly loyal, and acts a bit more tolerant towards the few people she does care about - Sonkun, Samantha, and sometimes Yanagi. For example, she got the scars on her chest and arm while protecting Samantha during a fight, and lost of of the feeling in her left hand as a result. She also has an obvious soft spot for her three cats (well, two and one shikigami), Kuro, Navet, and Sakura.
When she's involved in a fight, she is reckless with herself and will go at it with everything she has.

History: Not alot is known about Aki, except that her history has something to do with Yanagi; only Yanagi herself, Sonkun and a friend of theirs, S.E., know exactly what. She appeared out of no-where after Yanagi disappeared for a bit; they were quite shocked when she did show up. She shared some of Yanagi's looks, including long hair (although Aki's is straight) that was brought up into two pigtails and reached to her waist. After talking to Y, though, Aki cut her hair to just below her shoulders. Sonkun ended up taking her under his wing, as she seemed to have no place to go.
Her edges were very rough in the beginning of her story, but she's since softened a little, especially for Sonkun, whom she is married to. She's still quite standoffish to everyone else.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Name: Minomoto Sonkun.
Age: 24.
Ethnicity: Japanese.
Eyes: Dark brown; he is usually wearing his glasses, thin black frames.
Hair: Black, quite spikey all around with neat sideburns.
Weight: 130 pounds or so. Even though he eats alot(!) and is very strong, he's shorter and leaner in comparison to the other guys in his story.
Height: 5'6".
Build: Slender, but strong. He works out in various ways.
Peculiarities: Was a big-time skirt chaser before he met Aki; once dated Samantha.
Accessories: Glasses; later on, silver band on left ring finger.
Notes: Sonkun was born with super strength (like his father before him), which is why he's a part of the Committee. He's proud of being able to stop crimes and such, and so doesn't mind working for them, however. He's also very smart due to his mother insisting that he have "a plan b" and making him study hard as a child. X3 His complexion is light-to-medium, but probably seems a little tanned next to Aki.

Likes: Aki, food (especially Yanagi's cooking), working for the Cygnet Committee, cracking jokes, making money, his friends, cats.
Dislikes: People who use others, when S.E. is the center of attention.

Personality: Perhaps only second to S.E. in charm and Yanagi in optimism, Sonkun is an all-around nice guy who usually tries to lighten the mood for everyone when things get tough. After taking Aki under his wing once she showed up with nowhere to go, he grew fond of her (and vice versa) and was the first to have her open up to him. Before that, he loved ladies.. alot.. and was quite a skirt chaser. He especially enjoyed flirting with Samantha and Yanagi; somehow Aki calmed him down without having to do much.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION - Andy
Name: Andy Somerset.
Nicknames: n/a.
Gender: Female.
Age: 22.
Ethnicity: English; hails from Blackpool, England.
Eyes: Hazel, very light. She has the same odd eyecolor as her older brother.
Hair: Brownish, with varying tones. It's about four inches past her shoulders with bangs (which are a little uneven; her left bangs are about an inch or two longer than the other side); she likes to keep it clipped in the back.
Weight: 140-something pounds. (Muscle!)
Height: 6'.
Build: Athletic, but lean.
Peculiarities: None, really.
Accessories: She doesn't really have any permanent accessories.
Notes: Thanks to growing up with her father and brother as well as a few other factors, Andy prefers womens relationship wise; Alex in particular.

Likes: Alex, carpentry, rugby, hanging around with friends, her family, good times.
Dislikes: Obnoxious and/or pushy people, country music, having seafood all the time.

Personality: Andy is good natured and has a charming personality. She was brought up well by her father in the respect that she was taught to always be polite and treat others as she would want to be treated. As such, she's a really friendly person unless someone does something to absolutely not deserve it, i.e. do anything even remotely assholeish towards Alex.. it's at that time that she'll transform into a stereotypical violent english rugby player and bash their face in while engaging in verbal melee. (<3) When together with Alex, she's a bit of a romantic type as well. Sort of like.. a dream boyfriend. Haha.
However, she's NOT the biggest tomboy around. She plays rugby because she enjoys it and doesn't consider anything to be 'just for boys'. She's in fact girly in alot of ways; she keeps her nails nice and wears lipgloss, and doesn't really like bugs.. at all.
Also, thanks to losing her mother early and growing up in a slightly lower-class environment, she doesn't really take anything she gets for granted, weather it be material or not.
History: After her mother passed away due to terminal illness (cancer), Andy grew up in England with her Father, Ed, and older brother, Ed Junior. They moved to a small port town in Maine when the fishing company her father worked for moved there. The part of town they settled into has a rather large english population thanks to the fishing company, and they all fit right in. Andy involved herself in the co-ed rugby team (on which she is now co-captain), and shortly after began a carpentry apprenticeship while her brother went to fish with their dad.
She and Alex were set up on a blind date by Alex's best friend (and to Alex's dismay), but now she's trying to win her over..

Clothing: Andy's wardrobe is a mostly 'comfortable' one. She wears nice fitting boot-cut jeans with sneakers and t-shirts, mostly. She also likes ballcaps.

Name: Alexandra Burgess.
Nicknames: Alex, or to Andy, Poppet, love, luvvie, et cetera..
Age: 18.
Nationality: American.
Location: Maine.
Eyes: Green.
Hair: Reddish brown, curly, parted in the center. She usually keeps two clips on the sides of her head and her bangs tucked behind her ears to keep it out of her face. It is a little past her shoulders, but ends up cutting it short (to around her chin) later in the story. You may draw either, see ref pics for details.
Weight: 119 pounds.
Height: 5'3".
Build: Average girly build.
Peculiarities: Has a weakness for pouting and puppy dog eyes - Andy takes advantage of this alot.

Personality: Most of the time, Alex projects a 'good girl' sort of image. She's from the wealthy part of town and attends a good school, where she makes good grades, and is one of the favorite students. She's very polite. At home, she's more herself; she has the red-headed temper and the green-eyed monster within her so she's really a bit more rowdy and easy to rile up, though she's always kind.
History: She grew up in the nice part of town, so her life has been relatively quiet. However, with graduation approaching and big events coming up, her best friend, Jakob 'Cricket' Thearoux, has set her up on a string of many disasterous blind dates with alot of well-to do boys, and she hasn't liked one of them without a clue as to why. Finally, he tries a last date.. which turned out to be Andy. Alex was horrified because she was set up with another girl, but there is something about Andy..

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Name: Yanagi Nikoru.
Nicknames: Nikki-chan.
Age: 20.
Ethnicity: 1/2 Japanese, 1/2 German.
Eyes: Right: 'sky' blue. Left: blind, very pale gray.
Hair: Blonde, with short bangs. It reaches to around her waist and is very wavey; she keeps it up in two tightly wound odango on the top of her head.
Weight: 127 pounds.
Height: 5'4".
Build: Somewhere between average and athletic.. she doesn't look that strong, but actually is.
Peculiarities: Has a thin, faded scar on her left eyelid; she's a little naive, sometimes dense, and too trusting. Yanagi is also superstrong and experianced in physical combat and martial arts.

Notes: Yanagi has a pet duck named Omochi, and loves him very much; she also speaks three languages: Japanese and English fluently, and English.

Likes: Her friends, cooking, sleepovers, her duck, and alot of things in general.
Dislikes: Sleeping and nightfall, bugs, green peppers.

Personality: Always the optimist, Yanagi is the most cheerful of her group of friends. She's always making obento for everyone, and enjoys very simple things. Even though she's sometimes dealt bad cards, she really doesn't enjoy fighting and chooses pacifism whenever possible.
History: After the death of her parents, Yanagi stayed in an childrens' home until the age of 14, when she used her modest savings and the pention she recieved to leave. While in the home she was shunned for always smiling despite the gruesome deaths of her mother and father - she was once beaten, ending up blinded in her left eye and amnesia concerning much of her past. She passed the time by burying all negative emotion in the back of her mind and also made up an imaginary friend of her own..
After leaving, she met Sonkun and Samantha, two others who also had exceptional strength. They met Jukan next, someone from Yanagi's forgotten childhood, unbeknownst to them. Next came S.E., and they all became a group of best friends.. but one is simply trying to get close enough to execute a plan of their own. To add to the problem, the fiery Aki appeared out of nowhere and also appears have ties to Yanagi's past. However, Yanagi, ever the optimist, continues to be the light of the group and stays positive and happy.
