Ok, I have this friend at school who is like...currently pissing me off. She has a laptop and in this program at my school where all her courses are on a laptop and so she thinks she's the best at whtvr has to do with computers.

Anyways, i was reading one of my mangas called, "Fruits Basket" and she goes up to me goin, "Fruits basket? shouldn't it be Fruit Basket? Damn...these japanese ppl have the most crappiest grammar...they're getting so dumb that they added an extra 'S' at the end and they didn't notice it until probly they published it. Also, who in the right mind would buy those crappy books? they're so expensive...if i were you...I'd save my money for a new PSP or something...WHICH by the way...i AM doing...and besides...you don't need to buy those dumb books....there's something called 'internet' and 'downloading' and why do you buy your anime on DVDs? Like i said...there's something called 'downloading'"

Honestly...I KNOW there's something called downloading...internet and whtvr...I wasn't born yesterday! My god...like...i know i COULD go on the internet and read scanlations...but i don't want to...because i want the book right in my hand and within my reach, and I don't wanna have to need the computer all the time to just watch or read my anime. I buy the DVDs because I like being able to watch it on the TV and i like lying down on my bed watchin the anime rather than sitting right in front of the computer and having my back crouched or something to watch anime...honestly....

Is there seriously anything wrong with buying your anime? and Why DO you buy your anime?

I buy it because carting a book around is easier than carting a laptop and a power source around.

i buy it just 2 have it, if ur bored one day u just grab the dvd and put it in and not have 2 wait 4ever for it to download one or two episodes

Nothing's wrong with that. to me...i mean i buy my anime, and my manga. I buy it because sometimes mangas are different from the show and the show is different from the manga.

Either way its better to have the manga in your hand and reading it or whenever you are bored and want to read something you can just pull it out of your bookshelf or whatever than sitting at the computer to read it on the net.

Well i buy the DVDs because sometimes i want to like rewatch a lot of seasons and parts of an anime i may have missed or just want to watch. And also like the books i can watch it whenever i want or feel like it And i am not going to be sitting at the computer just to watch the anime. sweatdrop

I totally buy my anime and manga because i think it's wrong to download manga and anime...
cuz you're totally ripping off the companies........
my friend downloads and it really bugs me.......
