I don't think think sex shold have a legal age limit. I think when people are mature enough to understand it and the consequences that come along with it if practiced in an unsafe manner, then it should be okay. I think anyone under 18 should stop and think about what they're doing. Now girls at age 17 are pretty mature....for the most part anyway. I was almost 18 my first time. There are so many diseases going around these days. And kids having kids......just scares me. I'd hate to think of one of my little sisters (now not so little anymore...18 & 19) making a huge mistake like that while still in school.

But I agree with you.......sex should NOT be taboo. I think maybe gaia should create a few threads that are 18 and up only. And maybe require a password or some kind of fail-safe to get in. Although yes, it's good for young people to know about sex, there is certainly a time and place for it. Other than maybe health class in school, they should be learning about it from their parents.

Um... you just said that there shouldn't be an age limit, al though you said that all "kids" under 18 should think about that they're doing. As long as you can take responsibillity for what you do, isen't that alright?

I'm not saying that even people at age 18 know what they're doing. But at least at 18, people are made to take responsibility for their actions. Here anyway. I was more mature than most guys my age my first time. And it was with someone I loved more than anything in the world......eventhough she wasn't my girlfriend. Her boyfriend was actually at her house waiting for her to get there. They ended up getting married about 18 months later. Last I heard though, which was a few weeks ago, she's divorced now. Even now.....I still love this girl, although I haven't spoken to her in damn near 6 years.
