I've read all the books (absolutely loved them) and have yet to see the movie. I'm the only one of my friends that hasn't seen it..it makes me feel incredibly lame..one of my friends has even gone and seen it more than once..

This is a poem I wrote about the Hunger Games o3o I posted it here since, well it's obviously about the Hunger Games XD The poem can also be found in my topic Twi's Poetry in the writing forum c;

The Hunger Games

I come from District 12,
I'm known as the girl on fire.
I'm handy with a bow and arrow,
My survival and hunting skills will get you killed.

I became a tribute,
For my little sister Prim.
When she was chosen that dreadful day.
It is I who now competes in the Hunger Games.

To end our district's hunger,
And quench the Capitol's thirst,
We hunt each other like animals,
Deep inside the woods.

To kill is to survive,
The goal is to be the last alive.

Sunrise and sunset,
We must hide to last another day.

Days go by,
Until it's only us two alive.
There can only be one victor,
But no, that'll never do.

About to eat the poisionous berries,
With the boy with the bread I knew from so long ago.
They unhappily announce it's ended,
We have won the game together.

Now Peeta and I return home to District 12,
Not knowing what the future holds..
