I think he was fantastic, in both design and voice. I like how we weren't given a stereotypical dragon design (four legs, two wings, etc). Smaug in this film seem to have the combined look and motions of a snake and a bat.

Secondly, his voice was perfect. Menacing, yet somehow a tad polite.

My favorite line from the dragon: "I am King Under The Mountain!"

His voice as Smaug is aristocratic badazz. His voice as the Necromancer/ Sauron sounds like he is in a hurry about something.

there's a part of me that wants to see him in the flesh in the movie. He's also the voice actor for Sauron/ necromancer right? I wish they will make him an appearance like what they did to Andy Serkis who appeared in the flesh as Smeagol before he got corrupted

oh my god. bennidect died his hair white for a movie and its the same length as my boyfriends white hair. for like a month i just called him bennidect so he cut it short so id stop T-T lol XD
