well, we need a way to categorize people, that way we can look at our roles in society in a clear way, and you know, put pressure on people to do things in certain ways. That way there will be no confusion.

I usually agree. I have to say that every single person that I've gotten to know after trying to label... well, they've surprised me. However, when looking at the vast majority of people, labels do aply. Especially when looking at them overall. If you ignor the fact that the most preppy girl I know has a totally pagan family, the most christian girl I know is into S&M, the most jock-like guy I know loves hugs, and the most mystical guy I know plays with magic cards, well.... they still fit the labels, they just have quirks.
