Simply because you can do things online you might not be able to do in RL. Sometimes, personal constraints, like sharing a room with bros or a lack of car or something, can get in the way of achieving the most creative possible sex life. RPing helps in taht department. Hell, if you and yours are particularly creepy, you could take on non-human forms and go at it.
