i had such a crazy ******** year

let's see, my year started at an insane new years party
multi genre, 4 room, abandoned warehouse rave
straight out of the 90's
that party pretty much lasted until april, with me regularly just getting annihilated and spreading joy all over the place
i was living like a rockstar for a while
perhaps too much, so then i went to new orleans for a month
went to jazzfest, saw eric clapton and vampire weekend among others
went to french quarter fest
came back, started working at my summer job again
saw an insane amount of live music - tokyo police club, city and colour, young the giant, vampire weekend again, cage the elephant, bear hands, big data, a shitload
went sailing for the first time
broke my leg, that was exciting
broke my hand, also exciting
fell in and out of love, exciting
enrolled back in school
lost my best furry friend

I got engaged in May, and I started my history degree (the degree I actually want, unlike the social work one I received in 2012) this year, so those two would be the most exciting things.

like i like him as a blues guitarist, i was worried he was gonna play his shitty solo s**t but he didn't
he just shredded on guitar and played the blues
