Love. Is it something really worth fighting for? It is but an electric pulse, a chemical reaction your brain interprets. Some say that it is the cause of many deaths, maybe it has. But it has also has seeded the start of many new lives, and then in turn will create more life. Is it enough to justify all the harm this emotion has truly done? It has started and ended many wars. Has compelled great people to step up to their oppressors, and fight for what they think is love. For their country, their people, and their home. Has spawned jealousy, hatred, and an unquenchable thirst for revenge.
A man, heart stricken, and weighted with the burden of sorrow and grief. His family has been murdered; they were his everything, his all. The only thing left to live for. At what lengths will he go to kill their murderers? To settle the spirits of his fallen loved ones.
Love is love. No matter what shape or form. Not just the emotion most think it is. Not a file we can just delete from our memory, no matter hard we try it will always be within us, be us. What are we if we just strip ourselves of love and compassion? We become a husk of pure hatred and loathing, nothing else.
Why don't they understand? Why do they forbid it? Why? Is it the age? Is it an obsession, one that only I can understand? Or is it an obstacle preventing me from moving forward? They think that if society forbids it, that I would just stop. As if nothing ever happened? How can I do such a thing? I can never let go, ever.

I wrote this a long time ago.
I found it recently and read it.
Of course it really sparked my interest.
It made me rethink what I really think love is.
Is it something superficial?
So the point of this thread is....
If you had your sexual organs choped off/removed would you still fall in love knowing you could never have sex.
What do you think is love?
Yadda yadda.
