Okay, so my parents are buying a new car. HUR. How fun. My mom and dad both agreed on a Honda Odyssey, and we were all okay.
...
So, we're trading in our beige sienna van, but then my dad changed his mind, and now he is going to trade in the sienna...for the exact same sienna van.
In other words:

our sienna van goes to them.
They give us their sienna van.
WTF?
They're both equally old, and they've got about the same mileage on them. THEY'RE EVEN THE SAME COLORS.
