Okay, so here's the deal:

Yesterday me and my best friend Erin went golfing.. and mini golfing.. and after draining all our cash resources we kinda' randomly started walking down the highway.
After a while we decided to go to her friend jenny's, which is about a 5 mile walk, and after ten minuets jenny calls and they come pick us up half way.

Where's the point of my little story you ask? Well after we arrived at jenny's all we did was sit on the couch watching TV . . .
We had more fun walking those 2 miles than we did at her house, but if we would have just kept walking.. we'd probably have past her house and walked off with no destination.

Personally I have no problem with that, but in this day and world that would be viewed as an oddity.

When me and a fiend used to walk back and forth between our houses, fish and chips in hand, it was just genuinely great. Funny stories, what we were gonna do. Stuff like that.
Then when we did get to either of our houses. Boredom o_o;.

I completely agree. My friend lives about two miles down a country road, and we have the best craic walking down there. Not that we don't have fun at her house too, but the walk is far more fun. ^^;
