Well... As a person living near the capitol, and after reading what the newspaper had to say about the "Day without an Immigrant" boycott/march...

I'd have to say illegal immigration is a good thing. More illegal immigrants means more lawsuits and governmental tussles means more demonstrations means more cleared roads and parking lots means easier to get from point A to point B without eating up your wallet with gas. Hooray.

As a first-gen legal naturalised citizen immigrant from Norway who reads USA history, I live in a country where most of the citizens are descended from immigrant stock. So I'm for expanding legal means of immigration.
