My younger brother set the kitchen on fire once.

Except instead of being smart, he ran around in circles for a while, screaming.

Thankfully, one of my older brothers was home, and put the fire out with the fire extinguisher.

My parents were pretty angry.

I just laughed, though.

I must have ADD or something because most of the time when Im cooking I get sidetracked and I might turn on some music or use the comp and then forget what Im cooking... Iv burned some stuff because of that. But when I do pay attention I absolutely LOVE cooking and since my parents are always busy I get to cook dinner! People should learn to cook because then you have so much more power and get to cook what you want when you want without having to ask or wait.

My brother set my deep-fryer on fire when we were making fries.
He's all "MOM! IT'S ON FIRE!" and was screaming at the time.

Since my brother and mom were screaming, I had to put it out.

He was like, 17, and I was like, 8.

He used crisco to butter the pan... and it was on high, and thus it burst into flames.

Luckily, however, my mom and dad were home... so while alex picked the pan off the burner and was paniking, I ran to my mom and dad~.

We no longer trust him with cooking.

I don't know how that happened.

My brother did something like that before. He was frying potatos on the stove in a little pan, and he had the burner up too high. He went to put in more potatos, and almost the whole kitchen caught on fire. There were black marks on our ceiling for months.

One time my sister put pocorn in the microwave for 20 minutes. the whole kitchen was covered in smoke. lol then when she was cleaning her mess, she mixed bleach with another cleaning product and almost killed me and herself. gonk she's a real blonde. ><
