My grandma had surgery that morning for breast cancer
I was riding to the hospital with my mom when bubba the love sponge reported the first plane hitting the towers
They thought it was a joke till the second one hit and bubba went off the air replaced by news

I had my cd player radio on and nurses kept asking me what was happening
All the tvs were off so patiants wouldnt be upset

Then the ride home everyone was waving flags and going nuts

and my mom said she didnt understnd why Everyone was celebrating cause we got our a** kicked

I was in 7th grade. Mom pulled us out of school. I had a hard time comprehending the magnitude.

We were all dismissed for the day.
My best friend lost his uncle that day sad and I almost lost my aunt.
The next day people I knew were making fun of his dead uncle who died in the tower so I had to go upside some heads.

yea my dad was a politician and was freaAKING the ******** out and made me late for school

and when i got there no one was rlly doing anything but around 9-10 they made us all stand outside and look at the flag directly into the sun and roughly translated i was thinking "man this is super gay i'm going to go blind."

when i got home my dad was still crying and my mom yelled at him for not changing my little brother's diaper for 9 hours, and later they got into a fight about watching porn in front of me and my mom smashed a bookshelf with her bare fists
