no it doesn't depend, when one dies, their ocular cavities instantly incinerate so in turn there no longer are eyes or eye lids, let alone if they're open or shut.

Hmm, interesting forum, but for starters the majority of people die with their eyes closed, the one's that die with their eyes open do so because they die a certian way wich puts them in a state of shock (examples being horific car wrecks, being shot and duying quickly, and so on..), the state of shock suspends the use of motor control over most of the body, duying in this state would keep your eyes open...

but whatever enough explained... what made you think of starting this forum anyways, i'm curious..
