Evidently, there are sites that promote anorexia, bulimia, eating disorders in general, and other forms of self-mutilation.

What sort of society has spawned this sort of behaviour? Is this a reaction to the mainstream media, or just an attempt to justify idiocy that's gonna get you set up in the hospital for a rather long amount of time unless you die first?

I agree. Its absolutley Stupid and worthless. I will Forever regret gouging my inntials in my Wrist. It was very, very stupid.
