For some people, Christmas is one of the most stressful times of the year. There's presents to be bought and parties to be hosted. Even though Christmas is a lot of people's favorite holiday, it can still be one of the most craziest holiday's. And then there's New Year's.....

The Northstar resort is world famous for it's skiing and snowboarding. However, it always reaches capacity not during Christmas, but during New Years. The resort is huge, and there is so much to do. The skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, restaurants, bars, low drinking age, night clubs and much more is what makes this place number one on most people's destination list. This year, however, the Northstar is welcoming one of the biggest boy bands in the entire world into its doors. One Direction. Yes, that's right. One Direction. While the boys are keeping this under-wraps and no one knows about it, the guests of this resort are in for a shock. And there's even a rumor that the boys will perform right before the clock strikes midnight on New Years. But this is all hush hush, no one really knows about it except for the employees of the resort. So what will happen when the lives of the boys and 5 girls intertwine? Grab your keyboard, and let's get going!

❄ Ｔ Ｈ Ｅxx Ｒ Ｕ Ｌ Ｅ Ｓ ❄

- Keep in mind that this is a lazy literate roleplay. That means a minimum of two-three paragraphs per post. I really don't want this roleplay to die so everyone needs to be involved and committed. However, quality over quantity always goes. I understand we all have writers block, so if you must post two paragraphs, minimum. Please use size 11 font. Nothing smaller, nothing bigger. I find anything else annoying to read. Please, no bright colors or colors used for text unless your character is talking or thinking. Then it is fine. As for posting, I enjoy pretty post layouts. It makes the roleplay much better.

- Cussing is allowed. As for sex, when the clothes come off (and they might), it's time to time skip. Always follow Gaia's TOS

- If I haven't heard from you in a week, in the OOC or main thread, I will shoot you a pm and then kick you out if I don't hear from you. With that being said, this is an active roleplay. Meaning that if you do not have time, do not join. I want this to be somewhat fast paced, meaning a post or so every two days. It keeps the roleplay moving and it always sucks when you have to wait on someone. However, I understand we all have lives. If you are going somewhere, that is fine. Just shoot me a pm or mention it in the OOC!

- Title reserves with the position you want. Also, include samples. Once you've been accepted, post in the OOC so you can get to know everyone else and begin with plotting. There will be no profiles for this roleplay. Let's be honest, I hate making them, and you hate filling them out. So, why do something we both hate? Make the bio's interesting as that is what people will be reading.

- There will, however, be a mandatory relationship thread that everyone is required to fill out and pm me the link for. In this thread you will have everyone's names of the roleplay and the relationship your character has with them...thought's, feelings etc. If you have questions about this pm me.

- Real people. That means no anime. Also, no scene or emo.. Models and celebrities are preferred. As far as orientation goes, this is a heterosexual roleplay.

- All plotting will be discussed in the OOC and placed in the relationship thread.

The Employee (Bartender, Receptionist, whatever) : Working during the Holiday's was not this girls ideal way of spending her break. However, growing up, she always had to provide for herself. (you can choose why - develop your character). Nevertheless, a job at the Northstar was the only thing that seemed to present itself to this girl, and she took it in a heart beat. Well, she's actually quite a big fan of the boy band and news of their arrival excites her to no end. However, when she finally does run into Louis, she lies and says she doesn't work there, that she's staying there. She doesn't know why she's so embarrassed, but little by little she's beginning to dig herself in a hole of lies. Will he care once he finds out the truth? Plus, it's not like she has to work every hour of the day....

The Rising Celebrity: This girl has worked her butt off trying to make it in the industry but something is just not working. (She can be an actress or singer) Her manager has tried this and that to gain publicity for the female star. She does have a fan base, but it is growing slowly and the female can't seem to catch a break. All she wants is for her dreams to come true, and at this point, she'll do anything to achieve them. When news of the boys reaches her manager, and she meets Niall, he forces her to come close to the male perhaps even verging on the idea of a relationship so that she can gain publicity through the paparazzi. She has no choice but to accept. He gives her an ultimatum. That, or she has to pack her bags and leave Hollywood. She has no where else to go. Her parents kicked her out when they realized she wasn't going to college and told her she wasn't ever going to be good enough or amount to anything. She has to prove them wrong. She's not a terrible person at all, but she has to do this. What happens when Niall finds out?

The Anti - Fan: This girl has never enjoyed the boys or their music. While she doesn't know any of them personally, their everywhere she goes. On TV, in stores, on CD's, commercials on youtube, movie theaters and more. She just can't seem to get away from them. The screaming girls are stupid and wasting their time in her opinion. Why chase after a boy band like that when there's no chance you'll ever meet them? Pathetic, that's what it is. And she knows that each one of them must get with a plethora of girls all the time. It's sick. Using their fame for that. It's disgusting and she wants nothing to do with them. She doesn't trust anyone doesn't pay any attention to people she doesn't care about. Liam notices how uninterested she seems and how much she doesn't care for the band, yet instead of turning him away it intrigues him to the point where he wants to push through the walls that this girl puts up. He's curious why she acts the way she does. He's genuinely interested, but she doesn't see that. What happens when Liam practically forces her to hang out with him?

The Girl With the Troubled Past: Growing up in foster homes is never easy. But what if you had to live in more than ten? What if you were never good enough for anyone to decide they wanted you in their lives, to keep you? What if you had never felt wanted? This girl has serious trust issues, but most of all she resorts to the occasional binge drinking to solve her problems. It's not like she's an alcoholic. No, she knows what that looks and feels like. The only reason she came to the resort is because her best friend The Rising Celebrity forced her to. The two bonded over their rocky pasts and became instant friends. Now, the female practically lives with her best friend and came with her to the resort. Though, most of the time she has to be on her own due to her friends busy schedule. She doesn't mind though. It beats the shitty foster home she was last in. She meets Harry at a bar one night and the two share each other's company over a few drinks. However, as he comes to realize that there is something different and off about this girl. They also bond over Niall and the Rising Celebrity even though she knows what her friend is doing to Niall.


The Old Friend: At the age of nine, a girl moved in to the house of a particularly crazy young boy. One day after her first day of school, she sat crying on her porch. No one had wanted to be her friend. The boy notices this, and comes over and gives her a big hug. Soon, they are best friends and friends with no one else. She moves away a year later but says to the boy before she goes, " You promise you'll never forget about me?" and he gives her a bracelet. He agrees. Years later, he's in the X Factor and is now in One Direction, one of the biggest boy bands in the world. Though, its been years since he's seen her, he'll never forget her sense of humor and how he felt like he could do or be anyone. He often wonders where she is and what she's doing. When news of the boys staying at the same resort reaches her, she hopes that this will be an opportunity for her and Zayn to reconnect. However, she soon realizes that he doesn't recognize her. He remembers everything about his old best friend, but he believes that this girl is some crazed fan. The girl was shocked. It was only four years and he had forgotten. He wants to figure out why "this new girl" was acting as if she knew him. He grows more and more curious. All the puzzle pieces start to make sense. She had the same bracelet he had given someone years ago.

Born in Sydney, Australia Cleo always thought she was born to become a star. However her parents always wanted Cleo to become a doctor. She started private acting lessons when she first learned how to talk. She joined drama club ever since middle school and throughout high school. Cleo even starred in kids commercials for gum, clothes, and food. Her parents never agreed with what Cleo wanted to become, but when Cleo turned sixteen the Adams family moved out of the country to live in sunny LA, California. Once Cleo told her parents that she didn’t want to become a doctor and that she wasn’t going to college, they kicked her out after high school. Luckily her grandmother lived in California, so Cleo moved in with her grandma and continued to pursue her dream as an actress. Cleo started auditioning for roles in big movies and TV series, and one day she received a role to become one of the main characters in a small TV series called The Secret Life. It wasn’t the most known series, but it was a start for everything she wants to be. Cleo gained a small fan base that is slowly growing, people would recognize her ask for pictures ad autographs, but not a lot of people would recognize her. After the series ended Cleo didn’t really get a job offers after. Her manager has heard of One Direction and where they’re staying, so her manager is forcing Cleo to gain publicity by one of the guys.
