The evening was approaching, but it was hard to tell as the blackened sky consumed the area. Barrow was such a haunting place in the Winter time for most people, but especially for Micah Randolph. He had lost family in this town. Loved ones he cared so much about. At twenty-four years of age he still could not forget the faces of his Aunt, Uncle, and their sons James and Luca. The hunters had came from out of nowhere, killed them and then according to evidence burned their bodies to dust. Micah had been twelve when it happened, the twins being just six years old. It was painful to lose his Aunt and Uncle, but more painful to lose the little ones because they were like his brothers.Micah’s parents didn’t manage to get there in time to help them, so they blamed themselves for their deaths. Overall though, it was no ones fault except those who murdered them. To this day Micah didn’t really remember the whole story, but his little brother did. Mitchell had been seven and it was still his most powerful memory of his childhood. Not that Micah had spoken to him or his other two little brothers, Oscar and Blake, in years. He left home as soon as he could and then forgot about them.

Well tried. It had been easy in the old pack to forget, since they were so controlled that it was suffocating, then Aiden took over and suddenly everyone was free; and then he was leaving with Aiden for a new life in this cruel, harsh, world. Things were good and Micah didn’t once regret leaving with Aiden. Being with him was better than anything he had before. He was almost happy, well until Aiden bit a boy called Xaviur and they followed that kid to Alaska. Damn it, for that one kid they were back in the place where all the bad s**t for Micah started. Though on checking the place Micah made a great discovery and found James. He was alive and then there too was little Luca. The boys had survived after all and Micah couldn’t believe it. He told Aiden of them and then things moved on to the next thing and before Micah knew it another guy was getting bitten. That told Micah that they would be here a while.

So Micah then took Aiden to the old cabin. It hadn’t been used in years and it would be an okay spot to stay for now. Pushing the memories to the back of his mind was the hardest, however, Micah managed to shut the away for the moment. It was easier knowing that James and Luca had made it. He wondered how to approach them on their stroll to the building, knowing that going to the older twin would be best. Thoughts were broken when Micah smiled as Aiden came bouncing up to him on all fours and licked his face. My-my. Aiden was in a good mood tonight. Maybe he would get lucky? Phasing into his human form as soon as they were in front of the cabin, he opened the door and then sighed at the clutter. ‘’Yeah,’’ He commented in reply to needing to fix the place up. ‘’I’ll get to it.’’ It then suddenly became apparent just how playful Aiden was. With a hand pressed on his shoulder and pushed up against the wall. Kissed. Oh Micah could have stopped him easily if he wanted, but he didn’t want to do that. He chuckled then gasped. Feeling Aiden’s other hand on him, he eyed him and raised an eyebrow. Aiden whispered in his ear and then moved away. That was it.

Micah was left alone to sort himself out and clean the house up a bit. He was irked with Aiden and his antics and doing this helped him ignore it. He found the cleaning closet and then got started. He swept the floor, threw out the leaves, dusted the surfaces and even beat the cushions. Then he rearranged the furniture. moving everything into its rightful place. He opened the windows to let the fresh air inside. When Aiden returned the lounge was far better than it had been. And it would be better once the had a fire. Micah looked around in both the lounge and kitchen, finding a box of matches in a drawer. He grabbed the box and tossed it over to Aiden. Shutting the lounge windows as Aiden started the fire, Micah quickly moved on to cleaning the kitchen and then the other rooms. It was exhausting and he was starving by the time the place was finished. Aiden wanted to know if he wanted to lead the hunt and in the mood that Micah was in he didn’t much care who led the hunt. ‘’Sure, I’ll lead and that sounds fine to me.’’ He said with a shrug and then went outside to phase.

The golden brown wolf zoomed through the forest at great speed. His ears up and listening, his nose down sniffing for all the smells, and his eyes sharp and alert. He was so focused on this task at hand that when he found something - which was a mountain lion - it didn’t take long to catch the creature. A strong bite to the neck as he lunged, then a twist of his teeth and its neck was torn apart and broken. Micah waited for Aiden before he ate. He looked for him through satisfied eyes with blood dripping from his mouth. His kill was big enough to keep them well fed for the night and so Micah’s mood had improved in a second.

                                                  • XXXXXXWow. Marc was actually talking to him? He didn’t look at Marc as they walked and the other spoke though. He knew well enough that if he showed too much interest Marc would back off again, and if he didn’t show enough he wouldn’t feel like he cared. Robby knew well enough that speaking and getting along with Marc was like walking on a tightrope. Honestly he thought that when Marc had told him what had happened it would be the end of it. “James?” Robby asked. Esther always talked about how sweet the boys were, but one of them beat the snot out of Marc? Then again he wasn’t sure if he knew what ‘just an argument’ meant for Marc. It wasn’t really like him to downplay things. When he continued though it just threw him off. “What?” And then it seemed like the conversation was over.

XXXXXXFor a while nothing was said and the two walked in silence. He looked down at his son when he sighed and he just smiled slightly when he actually spoke. “I’m your father, all I do is worry about you.” He said in a sort of way to lighten the mood at the moment. What Marc said next let Robby know that he had been running around in his animal form today. Right now wasn’t the best time to get at him about doing stupid stuff since he’d had so much trouble getting Marc to want to go in the first place. He was worried though, since there were people who attacked him rather than just running away and getting frightened. It seemed odd… and then Marc actually got close enough to one of them to actually get hit in the face like that.

XXXXXX“Do you want me to take a look at it when we get to Esther’s? Robby asked looking at the bandage that Marc had put over the wound. He would at least like to see how bad the cut was, or if it needed stitches since he also knew that Marc sometimes had trouble triggering the healing process. “Yeah… I can see that you’ve had a bad day today.” He said quietly. Marc was usually hard to handle but things weren’t usually this bad for him. Even if he managed to get into arguments he never really got into physical fights, and if they did it didn’t really end up the way that he had today. So it was hard to see that he’d managed to get himself into so much trouble today.

XXXXXXWhen Marc asked about how things went with finding Sebastian though Robby just looked at him. He hadn’t been aware that Marc even cared. He couldn’t help but laugh a little though as the other continued speaking. “Oh so it’s not over the well being of your family? You just want to know what is going on?” He was teasing Marc; which right now he knew was a bit of a gamble, but it was a way of trying to lighten the conversation. They’d been talking about Marc getting hurt and now are on to Sebastian missing. He needed to make sure that not only Marc but the whole pack kept positive, especially now since Cat left to take care of their mother. “But no, Marc.” Robby said with a soft sigh as they continued walking. “We didn’t find anything. Not a scent.” Maybe Marc had been right… He just left. It still didn’t make a lot of sense either way.

XXXXXXOnce the two got to the house there was a moment when Robby realized that there was something big he had forgotten to mention to Marc. Xavi. When he turned to say something though Marc seemed to be distracted or was focusing on something else. Robby decided then that maybe telling him would be just as bad as him finding out for himself so he just left it for now as he knocked lightly on the door and stepped into the house. There was no point in actually knocking and waiting to be greeted because Esther was expecting him anyway. He stepped in and saw Es. With a smile he held up the bottle in his hand. “I know you don’t really drink, He said quietly to her, but kept the smile on his face. “But I thought maybe later tonight you and I could have a glass or two.” He laughed a little after. “God knows today has been a day that is worthy.” If his day had been bad he knew that he couldn’t have been the only one. It would be nice to just wind down with her later on.

❁ Aiden Cline ❁
- - - Alpha of Fenrir Pack - - -

It was true that Micah was generally more moody than Aiden was. Micah was able to hide his emotions pretty well though. Aiden on the other hand, when he was upset everyone knew about it but when he was happy it was just as obvious. Of course Aiden was more detached from a full range of emotions unlike Micah. Aiden had more of a wolf's mentality and his emotional range was lesser because of that. It served him well for the sort of life he lived, being a wolf 90% of the time, but caused him to differ from other werewolves in that he was closer to his spirit animal than most. Micah, if Aiden remembered right, had lived civilly before joining up with their original pack. Before that pack Aiden lived on his own as a lone wolf, having been born a wolf to a mother and father who got killed when he was too young to remember them. Somehow he got away and had been living on his own since. He understood being human, tried it for a little while, but the wild was always calling to him. Aiden was just a natural born wolf who happened to have a human form and human thinking. At least, that's what he'd always considered himself to be like. Aiden sometimes considered what Micah must have thought about this. The two of them had never discussed it and they were from a pack where normally everyone was a wolf. They only became humans out of necessity. Sometimes just for fun. But Aiden knew that Micah wasn't called to the wild in the same way he was. Micah was closer than most people, but they were not operating the same way. Perhaps that was for the best. Aiden could be a handful at times.

He followed after Micah, shifting just as he did. Soon his four padded paws began bounding into the forest just behind the golden brown wolf. In this form Aiden was the larger wolf. Funny how those things worked out. His muzzle was a dull cotton color, darkened in some places but suited to the snowy setting of Alaska. Zooming through the forest it was easy to confuse him with the snow covering the hilly area. He was comfortable here. It all felt natural. He'd lived in the forests of Canada and Alaska his whole life. And being with Micah was comparable to that. He too had his nose to the ground and picked up what Micah did but he was content to follow behind. Aiden may have been the Alpha but it wasn't his nature to strictly control everything. Especially not with Micah. He was surprised that Micah went head-first after a mountain lion. He must have been feeling confident. If you went about it the wrong way those claws and teeth could maul a wolf something terrible. But Micah did things flawlessly. He rushed the feline, went right for the neck with his jaws, and ripped it out with a twist. If Aiden had hands he would clap. But instead he just sauntered over to Micah's side and licked the blood off the sides of his face. There was always something "more" to being intimate while in his wolf form. It mattered more in this form. The other one was just for play. That's the way he thought of it anyway. After he did that, Aiden did what was ceremonial for an Alpha, he took the first bite. And, of course, he went for the stomach and entrails first. Those were the warmest and softest parts. From there he would keep eating with Micah, making their way to the meaty back legs, the sides, the slivers along the sides of the cat, until they were too full to eat anymore. Then they would leave the carcass that would surely be eaten by some lesser wolves later that night. When they were done, Aiden went about his usual habit of licking Micah's face off once again and letting Micah do the same to him. He turned and rubbed against Micah as he made his way back to the cabin.

Aiden got to the porch, shifting as he did so, went to the door and opened it back up. He looked back and saw Micah coming just behind him. He looked around the cabin again, reassessing it as the thought about the fact that he really was going to be staying here as a human for a while. This was going to be something different. Aiden saw the fire was burning in full force and judged that it would be okay until morning. No doubt Micah would be up before Aiden like usual. He rubbed his bare stomach, for Aiden wasn't wearing any clothes of course, and looked around the room for a particular item. Spying it laying hung over on a chair he grabbed a blue quilt then moved to the fireplace, sitting his bare rear on the wood floor before patting the spot next to him and looking at Micah. Once the male sat down next to him he draped the quilt over the two of them and promptly moved closer to Micah, resting a hand on his thigh and his head on the male's shoulder. It was sometimes hard to tell which one of them was the alpha in their personal relationship. Aiden was really affectionate at times. "We're going to be here a while." He decided he'd just say it and make it official. "Two sires that are both involved with those packs you were talking about. I'd also like to see if we can find any wolves in those packs to join us." He smiled a devilish smile while looking at Micah.

Yes, Aiden was plotting on skimming wolves from other packs. Well, only those packs that diluted themselves into living like humans. That wasn't truly living and Aiden felt he was doing them a favor. "And we'll use our two Sires to get us an 'in'. I'll call to them every few nights and we'll start training them. That will be fun." He started staring into the fire as he made his plans. "What do you think?" Aiden asked, his eyes shifting to Micah as he thought about something else in the near future. This was certainly the longest relationship Aiden had ever be in, he didn't have any intention of parting with Micah either, so he'd started wondering when a good time would be to ask Micah if the male wanted to be his mate. That was the ultimate question for wolves. Agreeing to that meant the next step was imprinting. And when that happened the two of them would be bound to each other for eternity. A big step and something Aiden never even considered before Micah. Still, something just felt "right" about being with him. Something the young alpha had never been able to shake, never wanted to, and sitting with him now he was reminded of the devotion Aiden had for Micah. A devotion Aiden kept to himself about.

James was taking his time to come into the house and Esther was beginning to wonder where he had gotten to. She wasn’t worried… much. She knew that he could handle himself if he ran into any trouble out in the forest, but he was still her little boy and she was still concerned about him. Whenever James went to chop firewood during the dark season it made her uneasy; one accidental slip of the hand, wrong swing of the arm and… well, you know. He had chance of getting hurt. Her hazel eyes peered out the window and she listened hard for the sound of his voice. There was nothing, not even a grunt from heaveing all the wood. That was when Esther knew in her heart that there was a chance that James wasn’t okay out there. ‘’James. Did you hear me? You should come back inside now.’’ She called to him again and then glanced at Lucas. He’d know if his brother was in trouble and wouldn’t still be standing there, so she tried not to worry. If she worried too much then she would run out there and probably find that he was fine and she was overreacting again. It was always awkward when she did that and James hardly spoke to her since she supposed it was like some trust was broken, or that she was fussing over him, when she was only concerned of his life.

Turning and giving Luca a little smile to reassure him, but mostly herself, that things were okay, she looked at the food that he’d prepared into giant bowls - pasta, salad, chips and dip. Oh he had done well, what a good boy. ‘’‘’You did a good job, Lu. Lets go put these out on the table in the lounge.’’ She spoke pleasantly, grinned at him and then went to help him carry the bowls to the dining room-lounge table. The way her house was set out was simple; instead of a table in the kitchen there was one in the lounge since - after redecorating and buying more kitchen appliances - the kitchen wasn’t big for a table to seat everybody in their pack family. It didn’t matter that it was in the lounge though, Esther liked it there and she got the sense that James liked it since he could eat and watch the T.V.

Once Luca had set down some bowls she nodded to him and told him thank you. ‘’‘’All done. thank you, Luca. Now if you want to you can run upstairs and change. I’ve got this.’’ Then she moved her attention onto what everyone else was doing, before going to set out the plates. How many would she need? There were six people including herself in her family, six in Robin‘s family.. then the neighbors. Take away Sebastian and Caitlin, add Henri, Xaviur and his sister.. And… oh, she was lost. She decided a number of twenty was needed, meaning she would have to open the new set she brought early for Christmas. With a smile to the people in the lounge she went back to the kitchen and went to find, unpack and quickly wash the new dinner plates.

As Esther washed, Rachael finished up the fries and then set them into a giant bowl for the table. After Rachael went and put them on the table, Esther didn’t have a clue what the girl was up to. She was however aware of Robin returning with Marcus. She dried her hands on the towel and then went to greet them. Robby spoke to her and she laughed a little bit. ‘’Oh? Yeah, that sounds like a nice idea. It’s not everyday you find out you have another…’’ Stopping herself as she saw Marc, she couldn’t help but continue to smile. ‘’Marc, it’s so lovely to see you.’’ She exclaimed ignoring his messed up face as he hugged her. When she saw him she realised how long it had been since she had seen him. He apologised about that, which was nice. ‘’It’s okay, Marc. You’re here now.’’ She nodded in reply. She didn’t want him to feel bad about not seeing her, because it wasn’t a big deal. Her gaze glanced to Robin and she was going to ask if he’d mentioned Xavi, but Marc began asking her about Luca instead. What? She didn’t know that those two were friends. In response she decided to tell him both where Luca was, and James. ‘’If you’d like to go find him you can. He’s changing I think. James is outside, but should be in any second.’’

With Marc going off to find Luca, Esther had a chance to speak to Robby. ‘’I take it you haven’t told him about his brother?’’ Poor Marc. Esther could only imagine what seeing Xavi would do to him. ‘’It’s going to blow up tonight isn’t it?’’ She sighed knowing how Marc tended to react.to things that made no sense to him. ‘’I do hope this doesn’t ruin dinner…’’ Now she was back to worried and because she was worried about one thing, she worried about all the things. James was still outside and she was about to go storming out there to find out what was going on when Xavi came down the stairs looking miserable. ‘’Hey, so I think I should go. It’s been nice of you to have me, but I think it’s for the best that I leave.’’ He said. ‘’No, Xavi. You can’t go yet. You haven’t even eaten any of this food.’’ She smiled slightly, looking toward him and then Robby. ‘’Why don’t you come and sit down with your father and I’ll go finish up washing those plates.’’ As she left them to it she wondered what must have happened and then her thoughts went flowing back to James. Then she noticed that Rachael was outside now calling his name and trying to get his attention. The door knocked again so she dried her hands on the towel yet again and went to open it. Thinking it was Colin returned with the neighbors she took a deep breath and smiled the biggest smile. And then found it was Josh.

Well that was a surprise. ‘’Josh, so glad you could make it this time.’’ They both knew that usually he didn’t show up when she organised these things, but it wasn’t as if he had to. It had just been a bit of a shock that he was here now. ‘’I see you’ve finally decided to brace my cooking?’’ She laughed. ‘’Well come in, make yourself comfortable.’’ Now it was a little bit awkward. ‘’You know Juliett. With her is Henri and Kristal. And with Robby is Xavi. Xavi is Marc’s brother.’’ Esther smiled at Xavi and Xavi waved his hand a little at Josh, before saying hello. Still awkward. ‘’I was just cleaning some dishes. I didn’t have enough in the cupboard so I opened a new set.’’ She spoke as she led Josh into the kitchen and then asked if he wanted anything to drink. ‘’Can I get you anything? We have the basics. Tea. Coffee. Milk. Water. Juice. And coke. I’m pretty sure Colin has a bottle of Jack Daniels hidden in the back of that cupboard.’’ She gestured to the one next to him. ‘’Feel free to drink it.’’ Whether or not Colin would be happy about that or not wasn’t a problem. Esther would buy another bottle for him when she next went to the store. She went back to the dishes, knowing that soon she would need to get the food out of the oven, which was in there for warmth, but she wouldn’t do that until everything was sorted.

                                    • XXXXXXWithout saying much Luca washed his hands after Esther excused him to go get dressed. He wasn’t much in the socializing mood today. When Marc had first shown up and it seemed like he had decided to tell everyone Luca had thought today was going to be amazing, but then Marc had to start fighting with James and everything went downhill from there. Honestly he wanted to talk to his Mama about it but he knew that if he told her everything he would end up in trouble, along with James and Racheal. So he just dealt with it himself. Marc had upset him and it made it worse that he couldn’t talk to anyone about it. James didn’t care and it would be awkward to talk to Racheal. He knew that his Mama knew something was wrong. That is why she took him to the store like she did. He still didn’t say anything to her about what had happened while she was gone.

XXXXXXAfter Luca finished washing his hands he went straight upstairs to his room. James still hadn’t come in yet and he was hoping that he’d finish getting ready before James came in and did the same. He went up to his room and moved over straight to the window. He couldn’t see anything outside. It was too dark out there and so all he saw in the window was his own reflection. With a short sight he started messing with his hair. In the middle of trying to brush it down with his fingers the lights outside came on. He glanced down the see Marc and his dad walking up. He could see how bad Marc’s face looked from where he was standing. He knew that all of it couldn’t have been what James had done to him, but he wondered how Marc was going to explain it to everything, since he was a wolf when most of it happened. Was he going to blame it on James?

XXXXXXWhile he was thinking of that he could hear Marc’s voice faintly in his mind. He sighed quietly as he looked down at the other. He could hardly hear what he was trying to get across to him only for the fact that Luca currently didn’t have his mind open. He didn’t want to hear it honestly. So he turned away from the window and went over to his closet. He drew in a deep breath as he looked through the clothes that were hanging up. Half of them were his and the other half were James, but it wasn’t like it mattered whose clothes were whose. They basically just shared everything. Luca grabbed out a pair of dark colored jeans and slipped out of his shoes. Jeans were the easy part because they basically went with everything, but Luca wasn’t sure if he was supposed to look ‘nice’ tonight or not. He changed pants and was pulling off his shirt when he heard a voice behind him.

XXXXXXTo start with Luca thought it was Marc, but he turned around and saw a face that obviously wasn’t Marc’s, even if his face wasn’t all beat up right now. “Ehm… Do you knock?” He asked the other. He didn’t say it in a way to be rude to him, but he was changing and the other just walked in there. I’m Lucas… but I can’t think of anyone who actually calls me that. So.. Luca is good.” He’d heard about him and seen him already but like the other said they never spoke. “That’s Britney.” The other was playing with his rabbit. He continued talking and Luca just turned around and started looking through the clothes hanging up in the closet. “Well it’s hard to get a lot of time in the sun in the winter when it hasn’t rose in a few days. He said with a little laugh following it. “Not that I get much color during the midnight sun.” Luca just shook his head. He pulled a shirt out of the closet and turned to throw it onto his bed before he turned back to the closet. “I liked Twilight, by the way, so I take offence to that.” He laughed.

XXXXXXNot even ten seconds after he finished speaking he heard the door open. He turned again to see Marc standing in his room. Wow. His face looked much worse up close. The look on his face was weird though, and it took Luca a second to realize that he’d not seen Xavi yet… Oh right. Well there was no telling how this was going to turn. As it turned out, it wasn’t as bad as Luca though it could have been, but Marc was obviously not very happy. When Xavi was leaving the room Luca made sure to smile. “It was nice talking to you too.” He said as the other closed the door behind him and left.

XXXXXXOnce the other was out of the room Luca glanced at Marc for just a second before he turned back to the closet with a quiet sigh. “I don’t think you needed to be so cold to him.” It had been clear that Marc didn’t really want anything to do with him. For the fact that Luca knew that Marc had felt alone so much in his life, he’d think he would be happy to know that he had a brother. It didn’t seem like it turned out that way though, or either Luca was going to have to push him into accepting it.

Then it was settled. Tony would go and but the other house while they were in dinner, and the phones would be bugged with hopefully no mistakes. She just hoped that everyone knew and understood that at that point, there was no room for error. Sure, she knew that they may or may not have been able to pull off the perfect loving family, hell she didn’t know how she and Eli were going to play in love with each other when he barely spared her a glance. It just meant there would be more of a challenge, and nothing that none of them couldn’t handle. With instructions given out, they all dispersed from the table and trekked up the stairs to the main floor from the basement. “Remember everyone – be on your best behavior,” she called sweetly once she’d made it into the foyer, headed in the direction of the kitchen. She really hoped that she hadn’t prepared dishes that were already going to be there…then again, had she just spiked the dishes there truly wouldn’t have been much of an issue anymore. A snort of irritation passed through her nostrils as she picked up the plates of food and then rejoined the others in the foyer, at the perfect time too it seemed. One of the wolves that had been there earlier had appeared, and judging from his flashlight and presence, he must have been there to lead them to the other house. Once they got this dinner over, they could focus on the new threat of Sasha.

Once all had filed out of the house, Savannah locked the front door behind them before she followed along in the line they had formed, her gaze on the back of Colin’s head as they walked. They didn’t have much information on this new threat, but there had to have been a reason for her to jump pop up randomly in the first place. Maybe tie up loose ends? Though, if she had read correctly from the slim information that they did have, she had been assumed dead. So, what was her motivation for popping up out of the blue? And more importantly, were there more with her? Would she be at the gathering that night? Now she wished more than ever that she had thought to pack more than just a few throwing knives, and her gun. Once everything was bugged and taken care of, the sooner they could get the hell out and only need to observe from afar. Just the thought of sitting in a room full of wolves made her hair stand on edge and made her want to just kill them all were they would be seated.

Savannah cleared her throat lightly as their pace slowed down, and she directed her blue gaze to the house in front of them. Too late to turn back now. Now all standing on the doorstep, she waited patiently for Colin to open the door, wiggling her arms to alleviate the coldness and the burden of carrying the food. The door swung open and she felt a warm presence by her side, which she hoped desperately was Eli’s, though she soon realized that it was Khris. She sent him a warm smile before she stepped into the house, walking in far enough to be able to allow the rest of her ‘family’ inside. “Well isn’t this place just darling!” she announced once she’d done a quick gaze of their surroundings. At this point, she might as well have just walked into an infiltrated nest. All of their files were in person, and for lack of a better term, staring at them as if they had not ever seen them before. “Where are my manners? Hello! I’m Savannah, this is my fiancée Eli,” here she paused and smiled up at Eli in what she hoped was an adoring manner, “Khristoph, and Arianna.” she continued, gesturing to each person in turn. So far, so good it seemed. “Hope you like brownies!” she finished happily, holding up the containers in her arms with a bright smile.

The door opened without much of a wait, and he was met with a blinding smile from Esther which he smirked at, cocking his head as he looked down at the shorter female. “Happy to see me?” He teased and stepped into her foyer once she allowed him to, sniffing lightly and then wrinkling his nose at all of the different scents in the air. According to his nose, the humans hadn’t arrived just yet. He still didn’t understand why she’d invited them in the first place, it wasn’t like they were worth anything except for playthings when they got bored. “Now is as good a time as ever to get food poisoning,” he replied dryly but then winked to show the blonde that he was kidding. Kind of. He’d heard the rest of his pack rant and rave about how good her food was, but as far as he was concerned, all of them were idiots so their opinions truly didn’t matter very much. As she lead him further into the room, his icy gaze landed onto Juliett, to whom he nodded and flashed a charming smile, before they drifted and stopped on the girl from earlier with some curly haired male. Well, well. It looked like the dinner had just taken a spin for the better. Instead of introducing himself, Josh simply nodded towards Henri and smirked slightly at Kristal. “We’ve met,” he drawled with a wink towards her before he looked over towards whoever was next on the list of introductions, though he had half a mind to tell Esther that she was crazy, and he knew exactly who the spoiled brat in front of him was.

At the mention of being Marc’s brother, he simply cocked an eyebrow before he looked Xavi up and down and then shrugged towards him. As far as he was concerned, he was just the twerp. He looked like him, smelled like him, hell, he probably even sounded like him. “Sucks that you two are related. My condolences,” he quipped without any sort of remorse in his voice, though he did raise an eyebrow and whistle inwardly. It seemed old Robin had more spunk in him than he’d originally thought. That was almost as reason for him to give him some sort of respect…kind of. Wasn’t going to happen any time soon though. Next, he was lead into the kitchen where he was offered a drink, not perking up until the mention of an alcoholic drink was mentioned. “I’ll take the Jack and Coke,” he returned with a bright grin before leaning down and opening the cupboard in question. A quick sweep of the contents occurred before he straightened up once more with a bottle of room temperature Jack Daniels. This dinner was seriously just getting better and better. “I’m sure Colin wouldn’t mind sharing,” he mused to Esther as he walked to the other side of the kitchen and pulled one of the clean glasses from the cupboard. “Coke in the dining room?” he asked, figuring that she would have put it out for the guests already. A quick survey in the refrigerator proved him to be wrong though.

With the bottle now in his hand, he returned to the counter and mixed equals amounts of the Jack and Coke, okay there was more Jack than Coke, before he placed the Whiskey bottle back into the cabinet, but collected the Coke in one hand and his glass in the other. He heard the door open and then close once more, before a new female voice rang through the house. Josh quirked an eyebrow at Esther before he took a swig of his drink and left the kitchen, his nose confirming his thoughts before his eyes could – the humans were here. How lovely. Now in the foyer with all of them, he looked over each person with a cool blue gaze before he took another sip of his drink. “…Josh,” he chimed into the silence that followed before he made his way into the dining room and placed the Coke with the rest of the drinks. He could only assume that Esther would be coming out of the kitchen soon to greet her guests properly. After all, he was only there for the food. If someone managed to get him to converse, well, they should get a gold star.

Upon seeing that thing Marc didn’t know what to do. He froze a little bit when it started speaking to him. What the hell? Xaviur? Brother? Sure… Marc didn’t believe that. he would know if he had brothers. His gaze turned darker than it had been, but hopefully wasn’t noticeable as he looked to Luca. How long had he been hiding him up here? Had he been here earlier? Marc tried to make this make sense, but unfortunately couldn’t. The thing… clone or robot, kept on talking and pretty much called him short. b*****d. There was no way that was acceptable. Marc narrowed his eyes at the boy and then replied bluntly. ''Oh right. Well hi, I’m not sure what to say, but can you give me a minute? I need to talk to Luca about something. I’ll be downstairs soon.'' He showed little to no emotion and hardly looked at the strange person straight. There were no smiles, no welcomes. Marc just wanted him out the room. He watched Xavi like he was a threat until he left and then glared at how Luca acted. Does he like him better than me? Marc thought since it looked like it. Marc turned around as Xaviur closed the door; he took two steps to the door and then made certain that it was closed properly. Seeing that it was, Marc lingered there breathing in and out deep breaths. He tried to force himself to stay calm, but really he wanted to shout. This wasn’t happening to him. there wasn’t a double out there. He slowly turned around hissing at Luca, instantly defensive. ''I’m not being cold.'' He stated. ''I don’t know who that freak was.. is.. but he aint my brother.''

Marc knew that he didn’t have siblings and so for that kid to show up out of the blue and claim that he was his brother wasn’t right. Mom never said anything about him having a twin brother and that meant it wasn’t true. She wouldn’t have kept this from him, they didn’t have secrets like that. Xaviur or whoever he was, was lying to everyone and obviously running some kind of scam. Marc guessed he was the only one who saw that the guy wanted something. Maybe he wanted money? But he wouldn’t be getting none of that. Yet the thought of money made him think of his money that he had lost earlier when phasing. Hopefully Luca had found it and kept it safe, otherwise it would be lost, stolen, or still outside and soggy. ''So where are my things?'' Marc asked. When scanning around Luca’s room he spotted his things on a chair in front of a desk, next to a cage of some creature. A rabbit? Ah. Luca’s pet, he forgot about that. Marc didn’t speak to the rabbit who ran and hid in her box. Clearly she wasn’t very sociable or he scared her when he approached. Not at all concerned about it, he went through his things to check it was all there. There were his sneakers, shredded clothes that would need binning, keys and phone. ''Where’s my envelope?'' He frowned and looked for his envelope. What if it wasn’t there? But okay, it was. Hidden under the torn heap of clothes was his envelope of notes. He opened it and started counting them slowly. His brown eyes wandering to Luca after, he raised his eyebrows and pocketed the cash. ''At least we know he isn’t a thief.''He smiled.

Well that made him feel better. until he noticed the judging look he was getting from Luca. Oh what now? He sighed and frowned somewhat and then rolled his eyes at him. ''Sometimes I work, Lu. I told you I don’t get to sit around much anymore.'' If the look wasn’t about the money then it was about the robot. Marc chose to ignore anything related to Xaviur though. He kept talking about the money and took it back out of his pocket. Going up to Luca he took his hand and placed the money into his palm. ''I earned every bit of this money Luca. And... I tell you what, I trust you to look after it. It’s for us. For our future. For tomorrow. For whatever we want, okay?'' Marc gave Luca a smile and closed Luca’s hand around the money. It was yet another sudden thing that he was doing today, but it was better than putting it back in his pocket and chancing losing it again. Plus Luca needed to feel trusted and this was a good way to show him that he was trusted. However. Luca was reluctant, which Marc didn’t know if was good or bad for their relationship. ''I know you don’t want to take it, but what if something happens tonight? I mean there is James and the robot I have to worry about now.'' Marc insisted. ''It would be good for us if you looked after it until I’m old enough to open my own bank account. Dad monitors my savings and I don’t like that.'' Was that too much? Luca still wasn’t accepting so Marc took the money and went to hide it in the closet anyway.

After stashing it in a pair of shoes, Marc went and grabbed his sneakers, put them in there too and closed the door. He grinned at Luca and went back over to him, placing his hands on his arms. ''So we’re good right? I mean you were upset earlier and we never talked about that. I can tell you don’t hate me, but I still get the sense that things aren’t quite right.'' He paused letting out a regretful sigh. ''I really messed up earlier didn’t I?'' This was hard for Marc, he wasn’t used to upsetting Luca and it wasn’t often that he apologised. ''Listen.. I didn’t mean it, Lu. I was just angry that someone tried to kill me. I didn’t mean to hurt you.'' He cupped his face, gazing into his green eyes ''I love you.'' He whispered planting a soft little kiss on his peach lips.

                                    • XXXXXXBeing honest Luca didn’t know why he was the slightest bit surprised that Marc reacted the way he did. He was always like that about change, but Luca wasn’t totally sure if it was change or if the other just felt threatened. “You were.” He said not really happy with the tone that Marc had taken towards him. “And whether you want to believe it or not, there is no question that he is your blood.” Luca was still rooting through his closet trying to find a shirt to wear. Currently he had two already on his bed to choose between, but the shirt he was actually looking for still hadn’t turned up. With a sigh he continued talking to Marc, even though the other had gone quiet. “Honestly I thought you’d be happy to find out that you’ve got a brother.” He spoke quietly. “For someone who feels alone all the time you really do like to push people away.” After he spoke he decided that maybe he shouldn’t have said that, but there was truth to it… even if it was just his passive-aggressive way of letting Marc know he still wasn’t happy with him.

XXXXXXWith a short sigh Luca turned halfway and pointed at his desk. “All of your stuff should be over there.” Marc was trying to change the subject, but then again it wasn’t like the other was really willing to talk to him about much anyway. Like he had been all day. That was what upset him. That was what always upset him. Talking was what Luca found comfortable. Every problem had a solution if everyone could just sit down and work everything out. He truly felt that way, and so when Marc won’t talk to him he gets tense. He becomes negative because without communication nothing changes. And Luca needs change or at least he needs to know that everything is okay, because if it isn't then what then? How will things improve? Marc may have been happy just ignoring the little things, but he wasn't. It was difficult trying to come up with a solution because if he pushed too hard he would push Marc away, and if he didn’t push enough he would probably never feel truly happy and secure in their relationship.

XXXXXX“What evelope?” Luca hadn’t gone through his things. He just picked them up so he didn’t really remember everything that there had been. Mostly he just remembered the shredded pants. There was no way his dad was going to get those fixed. Marc found it though and when he did what he said made Luca turn around. “Are you talking about Xavi?” He said giving Marc an almost annoyed look. He didn’t know anything about the other the least he could do was try not to be so pessimistic about him. All Marc wanted to talk about though was the money, which Luca didn’t even care about. “Marc, no.” He didn’t feel comfortable at all with this situation. He wasn’t going to hold himself responsible for Marc’s money. “Look. Just don’t talk to James and everything will be okay tonight.” He honestly didn’t know what to say to him. It made it harder that Marc wasn’t listening anyway. “And Xavi doesn’t pose any threat. He seems like a good person.” He just wanted Marc to open up, to say something other than ‘he’s not my brother.’ It helped nothing that he just ignored it.

XXXXXXApparently Marc was persistent about the money though and he tried to close his hands around the envelope. “Marc. He sighed. “I do not want to look after your money.” It just seemed like a recipe for a fight. “I know you want to keep it safe, but I can’t.” And then Marc backed off, only to go towards the closet and pick up a pair of shoes. Luca couldn’t help but smile a little though as he watched the other stuffing the bills inside them. “Those are James’ shoes.” He shook his head and took the shoe from him. “I’ll hide it.” He moved away from the closet and walked around his bed. Up towards the head of the bed he reached under the mattress and grabbed a book. “James is nosey, so I keep my sketch book hidden. I’ll keep them in there until you leave.” Luca said putting the money in the book and putting it back where he’d gotten it from.

XXXXXXWhen he turned back around to go back to the closet Marc was in front of him and then he was talking. Oh. Now he wanted to talk? Luca frowned. “So you want to do this now, because yeah. You really did mess up.” He braced himself. He was ready for a fight. Not that it was what he expected Marc to do; it was just that he had been so upset and he held it in and so talking about it would be hard to do without letting out his frustration as well. It was different though. Marc spoke softly and basically apologized. He might not have said ‘I’m sorry’ but that’s basically what he meant, right? Next Marc said he loved him… and finally kissed him. He moved his hand up to gently touch Marc’s cheek, careful of his bruised face. He actually didn’t like that it happened like that; because, there was so much that he wanted to say, and all of it just melted away as soon as Marc kissed him. Then when the other pulled away he took a step back and smiled a little. “I need to finish getting dressed… Help me pick a shirt out of those.” He said pointing to the three shirts he had laid out on his bed.

The day had been, well, interesting. After James and Marc’s encounter in the kitchen Racheal had raced around trying to clean everything up before Es got home and saw the mess. Honestly Rach felt like she was covering up a crime scene, cleaning blood off the floor, picking up pieces of shredded clothes and anything else she found outside in the snow. At first she wasn't quite sure what to with all of Marc’s things but figured that putting them in Luca's room was the best bet, so with everything gathered up she found a chair in front of a desk to place it all on and returned outside to get rid of any traces of blood in the snow outside. She had figured the best way was to just shovel up any snow with blood on it and melt it in the sink, then she has decided to make a snowman so that it wouldn't look weird that there was random patches of snow missing. That was her excuse anyway, really she just wanted to build a snowman. Normally she would have tried to pester James or Luca into making one with her but with Luca gone and James in a foul mood she was left to do it alone. So after all was said and done there was no trace of the fight, and a handsome looking snowman in the backyard to boot. Rach had been quite pleased with herself.

After all that excitement was done they had strange new visitors show up, one of whom had looked exactly like Marc, as if that wasn't weird enough he said he was Marc’s long lost twin or something. As if things weren't confusing and messed up enough now there was a look alike wandering around. She could just imagine the problems that was going to cause. Luckily it wasn't long before Es had come home and things had settled down a bit. Rach had just finished helping Es by cooking the fries, and didn't burn them, or herself in the process. Another point for Rach. Yup it seemed like the day was only going to keep getting better, at least she hoped it would. Though she was a bit worried about Marc and James having to be civil with each other at dinner. It was bound to be a bit hectic and crowded around the house with Robin’s pack and the new neighbors all going to be there. She just hoped that with so many people around those two would be able to completely ignore eachother. Speaking of James, was he still outside? She figured she might as well go and fetch him.

“James?” Racheal called as opened the door and stepped outside. She remembered that he had been cutting wood, which meant he shouldn't be too far away. "James, it’s almost time for dinner you should come inside I’m sure you have chopped more than enough firewood by now” She called as she continued towards the woods. She rubbed her hands together to warm up her fingers as she walked, sure the cold didn't have the same effect on her as it did normal humans but she still didn't like it, and neither did her digits. It didn't take her long to find James though he wasn't chopping wood, he was just staring off into the woods, and he didn't look happy. “James?” She asked as she approached him, she noticed he had snow on him as if he had fallen down, and that there was a dent in the snow nearby. She giggled to herself for a moment “I didn't take you for the kind to make snow angels James” she joked trying to lighten the mood. Racheal wasn't sure if something had made James mad or if he was still mad from earlier but she knew she would much rather see him with a smile than a scowl. “Alright grumpy gills lets go inside okay? Everyone should be coming soon if they aren't here already and I think Es is starting to get worried” Rach walked over to the pile of wood that James had already chopped and picked some up. “Come on I’ll even help you carry some of this.” She said as she readjusted the wood in her arms so it would be more comfortable, she turned to leave but paused for a moment. “Hey James? I hope you don’t really think that no one loves you... U-uh I mean like, I hope you don’t believe what Marc said earlier or.... whatever.” Rach blushed slightly as she tripped over what she was trying to say, God knows she felt like an idiot, but it made her sad that James always seemed to be so alone. “N-never mind, forget I said anything.. .D-don’t forget the rest of the wood kay?” She said hurriedly as she started on her way back to the house, thankful that James wouldn't have been able to see how red her face was as she walked away.

                                    • XXXXXXGood lord, the woman was persistent it seemed. James just shook his head at her though. She could threaten all day and he still wouldn’t say a word to her. “I’d like to see you try.” He growled at her. “I guess I can see where Marc gets it from.” He was trying to work on her nerves, just as she was clearly doing to him. He ignored her when he spoke; he wasn’t interested in whatever she wanted to know about Xavi. Like he actually knew anything anyway. “Nothing is more important than you and what you want, right?” He arched an eyebrow and gave her a smug look. She didn’t scare him. She could threaten him and Luca, but that didn’t change what she was. Obviously if you’re going to fake your death and leave your family for years, you’ve got to be a coward. To just throw everything away and run for your own sake. Honestly, James didn’t care he would never abandon his family.

XXXXXXShe let him go though, and he was about to open his mouth to say some smart comment when she hit him. He growled at her, snarling and bearing his teeth. God what he would give to just rip her throat out. She was really pissing him off. If he hadn’t had enough from her devil spawn already today. He clenched his fists digging his nails into his palms. He was getting close to phasing and in an attempt to stop it he forced his mind elsewhere. To the pain in his hands where his nails now broke the skin. Pain was how he controlled himself. So in the short few moments of silence after she hit him, he stood breathing heavy with his eyes closed. He didn’t get very long to compose himself; in reality it was no more than a few seconds before she was talking again.

XXXXXXIt kept going back to Xavi for some reason, which James wasn’t sure about. He wasn’t bothered with her calling him stupid. It was a jab and he knew enough to know that. She kept at it though and then got around to basically saying that he and Xavi was like Marc and Luca.. Was she saying that they were supposed to be together? He shook his head and stared at her. She was pulling at strings now, trying to get him to open up. “If there is something you want to know about him, go ask him yourself.” He said annoyed. “I’ve been in the same room as him for all of fifteen minutes. It’d be faster and much easier if you acted like an actual adult and talked to him yourself.” He growled under his breath. She moved to hit him again, but this time he saw it before she started moving. He reached up and grabbed her hand and gave her a look. She asked if he was going to fight her and he really wanted to. Honestly he didn’t know if he was going to or not, but Racheal was calling for him.

XXXXXXHe turned his attention away from her for a second, but that was long enough for her to kick him and push him down to the ground. He reached down to hold his leg for a second or two before he pushed himself up out of the snow. If he was going to find her he was going to have to follow her scent. He knew that Racheal was out looking for him, but he wanted to follow her. He wanted to drag her back to the house, and then after that he had no idea. Let Marc and Robin deal with her. Racheal found him before he could follow her though.

XXXXXXShe made a joke and James wasn’t in the mood at all for it. He knew that she meant well though so no matter how irritated he was at the situation he wasn’t going to take it out on her. So he did his best. He laughed, though afterwards even he could tell it sounded just as forced as it actually was. With a sigh he turned around to look at her. He actually hadn’t realized the cold until he saw her. The way that her cheeks were flushed and even her fingers were a little red. It grounded him; made him realize that following after Sasha would have been a bad idea. Whether he liked it or not he knew that Esther, Racheal, and everyone else thought of him as more than just a member of the pack. He’d known that already, but if he’d gone running through the night following after a literal ghost they would all be out there looking for him in the cold.

XXXXXX“I know.” He said as he started to pick up the rest of the wood. He’d known at the time that Marc had just been trying to get under his skin. The problem had just been he didn’t know James well enough to even do that. “Thank you for helping with the wood.” He followed Racheal towards the house and he was quiet most of the way. He was irritated over Sasha and if he talked about it they would all call him crazy. He sighed just before they got to the door. “Do you happen to know who is here so far?” He was just hoping to avoid Marc and Xaviur. “I’m not sure if I’m up for this right now… What are the chances of Esther thinking I’m sick?” He was trying to lighten up. If he went inside thinking that this was going to be the worst few hours of his life, it was going to end up a train wreck.

Isobelle Mae Ryder woke up next to a very handsome, very European man, with a little too much chest hair, and not enough hair on his head. Groaning as she reached to the hotel bedside to grab her water and the headache pills she'd bought days earlier. The British woman took a giant swig from the diamond cut glass cup, and sighed, climbing from the bed, smacking the stranger's rump, yelling towards him. "Get on up, I've a plane to catch, you lazy t**t." The man stirred in the covers, and once he was coherent enough, Izzy opened the door, promptly letting him out without so much as a good bye. Sighing against the door, she turned towards the room. The Venitian sunlight was peeking through her windows, and she walked over, staring at the streets of Paris, smiling. Oh, how she loved the European lifestyle. But now she was relieved of the stress she'd had, something magnificent, and was growing tired of it. It was time to go back home to Alaska. To her family.

Once her CLOTHES were on, she zipped up her brown boots, and began packing up the things from the drawers in the room. She had her three suitcases packed with the clothes she'd thrown together on a whim and the presents for her pack she'd bought. The final step was getting her carry on bag together with things that would suffice for entertainment. After an hour and a half of debating whether to call the house, she decided against it, and gathered her things, calling a bellhop to bring the luggage downstairs. Once everything was safely in the back of the taxi, she was taken to the airport, where her things were unloaded and she proceeded to check her bags in and get food before leaving on the plane. She'd opted for one straight flight to Anchorage before she boarded a bus that took her to the closest station to Barrow, then a call - in - cab home.

She stopped at the mall first, however, to pick up some perfume. Paris was amazing, but nothing compared to American perfume in her opinion. Not to mention, she missed eating greasy, nasty foods, and there was a Burger Monger's at the mall she had been craving since she stepped off the plane in Paris. America was good for something, and that was comfort. The second she bit into the juicy burger, she felt right at home. Finishing the greasy and awkward meal, she stood up, now ready to go home. The cabbie was waiting patiently in the parkinglot, where a very cold Izzy was headed. Bundling up in the coat that really wasn't enough, she started the thirty minute drive home.

She smiled at the man, handing him the money as they arrived at the house. The brunette then placed her hat on her head and gathered her purse from the back seat where she was sitting. Izzy'd gotten an appropriate amount of sleep on the plane, and so she was ready to face the family. But rounding the driveway, she smelled other wolves. Was Robin's pack here as well? And humans? How queer. She pulled her three piece luggage along, and shivered, her breath fogging the air, then fading away. Man, Alaska was cold. It was something she'd forgotten in Paris. This was a bone chilling, whole body experience. Not to mention, the streets of Alaska were dimly lit by street lights that had been far too long forgotten.

Pulling her keys from her purse, she adjusted her hat, and then her hair, and turned the locks, opening the door. Which she realized was stupid because the door was already open. Sweeping in like she always did, she pulled her hat off, shaking the snow from her hair."Hello family! Guess who's home from Paris with gifts fo- Oh, hello! I'm terribly sorry. I was thinking we were the only ones home." Her voice became a little more hushed, as she "realized" people were in the home. She giggled giving a blanket wave to everyone as she started walking away. In the midst of her exit, she passed by Josh, a tattooed young man She quickly brought her bags with her up the stairs to her bedroom, where she did not put things in everyone's rooms because COMPANY and MANNERS. Mainly it was because that Josh fellow was here, and she was not passing up an opportunity to say hello. He was quite handsome, and had a whiff of danger about him that made her pharamone levels spike. The age old stereotype was true : ladies loved bad boys.

Once everything was put up, Izzy took off her jacket, and made her way downstairs, making a bee line for the kitchen. Colin hid Jack there, and since the two were practically siblings, she felt it her right to steal his stash. As she was walking in, Josh was coming out with a distinct smell of whiskey and coke, and she smirked, finding her glass and pouring herself some before hiding it better than Colin'd done. Once the brunette was finished doing that, she came back into the dining room, finding her way next to Josh, who was being quiet as per the norm. She'd only spoken to him once or twice, and she was sure he didn't really pay attention to her. No one truthfully did. She took a section of her hair and swept it behind her shoulder looking at the side of his face as she stopped, standing beside him. Leaning in, she spoke at a calm, steady tone."So, what kind of mischief have you been up to? I haven't seen you in what seems like ages." Her accent was her best feature, a full, warm voice that was also somehow enticing and sexy. Taking a sip, she bit her teeth together, looking among the people in the room. "Funny, isn't it? I think this is one of the first dinners I've seen you at. Hmph." She was trying to make conversation, but was terrible at it with this ice man. It was attractive, but also very...nerve wracking. She caught Esther's eye, and smiled. She and Es were good friends, and she'd missed the woman in her time away. Her drink was almost gone and as she pushed from the table she was leaning against, she turned to Josh.

"I have some harder liquor like scotch and lager, if you want. Or Tequila. I hide that from Colly cos he's terrible with alcohol. Or if it tickles your fancy darling, some really good weed from Amsterdam." it was an open invitation, something she was just telling him, as per hospitality. Grinning, she waved her glass at him as she walked towards the kitchen. Her hips swung in an effortlessly sexy way. She'd hoped he would take the bait.

                                    • Xavi hesitated outside the room that he’d left. He looked to the door, closed it and then listened. Scowling when he heard Marc call him a freak behind his back, he didn’t know whether to be angry or upset. He had only just met Marc and already he was insulted by him.Just not to his face... Not that it made a difference because it still hurt either way. Xavi had it in his mind to go back into the room and call him out, however he didn’t want to fight with his brother so he left it alone. The he heard the thief comment and growled softly. As if he’d want to take Marc’s things? Honestly. He came all this way to,meet Marc, then that. Oh now he was a robot? Xavi grit his teeth, balled up his fists and then stormed off into the bathroom. He closed the door behind him loudly than he would have done if he’d been in a better mood. Then he went to the sink and glared in the mirror. Freak? Thief? Robot? God. Xavi wanted to tear Marc to pieces. He started to feel hot, so filled the sink with cold water to wash his face to calm down. After leaning forward and splashing his face he grabbed a towel and dried himself, wiping away the make up he’d added that morning. Then looking back into the mirror he noticed his eyes had changed color, going brown to golden. What the-- what was going on? This had never happened to him before or at least he didn’t think it had ever happened. Examining his eyes, he didn’t know what to do. This wasn’t normal and it scared him. Even when they went back to the normal color, he was still scared and confused that when he left the bathroom he was paranoid that they'd keep changing color.

Going back down the stairs Xavi was more self-conscious than usual. The eye thing really affected him to the point where he didn’t want to look at anyone. He moved through the lounge and ignored his sister, who was still with Henri. A sigh slipped from his lips and he kept on walking all the way up to Robin and Esther. "Hey, so I think I should go. It’s been nice of you to have me, but I think it’s for the best that I leave." If he could leave now then maybe he could make it in time to the Clinic and have his eyes checked out. It wasn’t that late...Oh okay, nevermind. When he glanced at the clock on the wall he realised it was. Crap. Then it was apparent that Esther wouldn’t let him leave yet anyway... and all because he hadn’t eaten. He forced a smile, nodded his head, then when she pushed him to go sit with Robin; he obliged. "Okay." Xavi said quietly. He wasn’t going to mention that he wasn’t hungry; that wouldn't have been a nice thing to do. So then sitting with Robin he kept quiet for the longest time, not wanting to rat on his brother. It would do nothing for his relationship with his twin if he started bad mouthing on him. Xavi wanted things to be good with Marc, even if Marc didn’t.

It was awkward sitting with Robin without saying anything though, but it was hard when he didn't want to conversate. His mood stayed low and closed off until a strange guy in tattoos arrived and Esther introduced him to him. Xavi waved his hand briefly that was rested on his leg, said "hi" to be polite, but otherwise didn’t care for the guy. He glared suddenly when Marc was mentioned in an unkind way. Marc was becoming a trigger point because Xavi felt sensitive, defensive about him and protective. He wished that Josh hadn’t mentioned his sibling like that,it made him a little bit angry. He was positive that his eyes had yet again changed color, which meant that he was probably going to have some kind of stress related seizure."I need to go outside for some air, I feel suffocated and some people need to learn respect." Xavi muttered to Robin, ignoring the fact that he hadn’t replied to Josh. It wasn’t necessary to speak to that guy. From Xavi’s point of view. that guy was a piece of s**t. So glancing st Robin through golden eyes he stood up, walked towards the door. passed a group of people coming inside who must have been the guests, grabbed his jacket off the hook and then stepped out and embraced the cold.

As soon as he was out in the frost he didn’t linger by the door, oh no; he wandered around, surveyed the area and then passed James with Rachael. "Fancy seeing you out here.." He spoke to James with a friendly smile. The sensored lights were on and he noticed that James and the girl, he barely acknowledged, were carrying wood. Xavi forgot about the problems he was having for the second. His eyes were golden, not that he knew ‘that they were, and his mood had spiralled rapidly downhill since talking with James earlier. "It’s a bit hectic inside, I wouldn’t go in." With a shrug he nodded at the pair. "Well, I’ll be seeing ya. I’m going for a walk before I kill someone." That was a joke, sort of. Xavi smiled at James some more, giving Rachael a slight smile as he walked around her. He didn’t know where to go since he wasn’t from Barrow, but thought maybe to take a stroll down by the river.

Meat. Raw meat. So fresh, so good. Most people would have found this disgusting, but he wasn’t most people. He was Micah Dominic Randolph, Beta of the Fennir Pack, which was a pack that consisted of two members, currently. Soon though, more wolves would come and then there would be more reason to hunt, to kill. to eat. Micah thought a lot about his stomach because he had a huge appetite that hardly ever got satisfied. Maybe it was all the animals that they fed on that was destroying it, because he always craved something better. Whatever the reason he had lived like this since left home and joined the previous pack that he and Aiden freed, or rather… abandoned. To change his ways now would be to change his beliefs and damn, he had worked so hard to be who he’d become.

Blood was everywhere, on his paws and his nose. Feeding this way was always messy and Micah found this annoying. He didn’t focus on the mess though, just enjoyed his meal. Who knows how long it would be before they ate again? He knew that this was it for the night after this as they were both getting quite full. His stomach gave a content rumble and he slowed down and waited for Aiden.

After devouring the animal Micah returned to the house with Auden, shifted into his human form and then went inside their new home. It was far more comfortable being inside the house than outside; the fire was still burning and sucked the chill right out of the air. Micah went to the kitchen, washed his hands and his face in the sink, then returned to find that Aiden had gotten himself settled down by the fire. Oh. He sent Aiden a small smile. "I see that it didn't take you long to get yourself comfortable." He half joked as he went and sat down beside him. The blanket was quickly sprawled across them, making things cosier, better, and Micah wrapped an arm around Aiden’s shoulder as Aiden leaned into him, talking about being here for a while. "Mm. Yeah, I had a feeling we’d have to stick around." He wasn’t worried. Being in one place for a while sounded like a good idea. It had been so long since either of them had played human, and god knows Aiden could do with practise. Micah often worried about him and his mental state, but he knew that as long as they had each other then his partner would be okay.

Auden finished talking about the new sires and wanted his thoughts on the matter, which was all very good and well, though Micah wasn’t sure what there was to say. "I think you have everything pretty much figured out." Micah felt eyes upon him and nodded, continuing speaking. "IUh, though… I don’t think you need to be concerned about them giving us an in. I mean, my cousins can do that… I’d just need to approach James." As he thought about it he decided that he could go to James in the morning. "I’ll search for some clothes when I wake up and then swing by first thing" He knew how eager Aiden was to start a pack and also Micah wanted to see the little blonde twins badly.

Micah hoped that it didn’t sound as though he was taking over, because he wasn't trying to do that. He wanted to help and voiced his thoughts as open as he usually would. Being with Aiden did get confusing when they discussed ideas; Micah had the habit of sounding more Alpha in their relationship, even though he didn’t try to be. Things always shifted back and forth, not that he minded, but there was hardly any stability. Just like when it came to sex. Micah was never quite sure what was going to happen, like who’d be in control. It was one of those things and as if they shared the power. Kissing Aiden now, Micah knew that they had finished talking. He moved his arm from around Aiden, rolled onto his side, and let his hands move along his partner’s body. It had been too long since they’d done it the human way - like Aiden had earlier claimed, but this was the best way that they could ever be together.

Rayna woke up to the darkness, groaning. Why did she have to come to Alaska with her uncle? He was so bothersome. Just because she'd been sent to live with him as a kid, she didn't have to move with him. Or become part of the Ravenclaw organization. Like, really? She was just a kid. She didn't have the skills everyone else had. She had just started training as a young girl merely eight years ago. Rolling around in bed, she listened as she heard everyone moving around, already awake. Her well trained hearing picked up different and new voices, and she looked out her window, seeing people she didn't know. She rubbed her eyes, hands running through her blonde pompodore, smirking. She'd just stay in her room a little longer. New people weren't her thing, really.

Rayna picked out an OUTFIT, and then flopped onto her bed. She sighed, giggling as the water bed moved her unlike any other bed would make her fall. Which is what the blonde did, and then promptly fell asleep. Hours passed, and dreams of what happened to her parents flashed through her subconscious. Her mother was a werewolf, and her father was a hunter. When her father found out, he confronted the woman about it, asking if their daughter was going to be : " an abomination like her." Needless to say, it pissed her mother off, who attacked him. She bit him, turning him into the very thing he hated. Of course, her father would have killed himself and his wife, but the man loved her. So the pair ran off, and the girl was left at the age of nine alone by herself. She had her uncle's number on the fridge, and called him from a neighbors home. The man was a good pseudo mom/ dad, but trained her to kill her favorite animal. Which of course, was tough.

Once again, the blonde huntress woke up, this time, somehow knowing she was all alone. She emerged from her room, not hearing or really seeing anyone, and huffed, hands on her hips as she checked her watch. She'd slept through the day, and was hungry as one could be."I'M HEADING OUT, IF ANYONE NEEDS TO KNOW. I GOT MY PHONE ON ME. DON'TCHA WORRY." Just in case someone was home. She wasn't too observant. So Rayna made her way outside, grabbing her coat and flashlight as well as concealing her gun and knife for precautionary measures. Then she slipped her coat on, walking from the house. The snow wasn't heavy today, but walking was going to be hell. She was from California originally, and loved the warm weather. This was...completely different, and in her mind, really gay. The girl walked for a good ways before hitting a small restaurant, stopping in to grab a good dinner and some cocoa. Once her tank was full, she headed back out, deciding to take a walk. It got her thinking about how she'd been roped into this mess. Her uncle, mainly. He was an interesting man, and was discovered by the government. What she couldn't understand was why she was inducted. She was just a rookie, the trainee. Honestly, her uncle shouldn't have been trying so hard to sell her when he did. She got accepted and placed in the program. And while she hated it, one thing rang true: she did need to learn how to defend herself.

The walk lead her through the forest, and she wandered. They'd scouted this out, mainly Rayna explored. She was a curious one, and played in the snow a lot, just being a young girl. She lost her childhood at eight when her father started training her, so she didn't really have time to be a kid. Today, however, she'd been dying to check out the river. It was peaceful, and reminded her of the family's ranch in Washington. Her father would take her there to hunt actual wolves, as practice. Now, she hunted the real deal, and was here doing it. The other members in the group seemed to enjoy hunting the creatures, and it sickened her a bit. As she meandered out of the woods, she heard crunching. Turning swiftly, she saw a young man, about her age with sandy brown hair. He had an air about him that made him automatically interesting, and seemed to be in a hurry to get off somewhere.

Since she'd moved to town, she'd made no friends. And while the others were nice enough, she wasn't close to anyone. Maybe Kris, but that was it. "Hey! Hi." she hollered, jogging over to him. "I'm uh, I'm Rayna. I just moved here." she extended her ungloved and red hand, manicured with sharpened acryllic nails. Sure, handshakes were awkward but she couldn't just hug him. Her smile was bright and sincere, and Rayna began to bounce. Not because she was nervous - well, partially because she was nervous - but the weather was cold, and while her clothes were thick, she was stupid for extending an ungloved hand. Or really going anywhere without gloves. "So what's your name?" she asked, looking him up and down. Now that she'd gotten a closer look, he was pretty handsome. His eyes were a nice brown, and he had a nonchalant, don't care attitude about him. It was kind of hot. ONLY KIND OF, THOUGH. She reminded herself. Falling for someone wasn't an option, though she felt as if it would happen eventually and be hell. The snow fell on her eyelashes, and she blinked them off, looking at him expectantly. Well, is he gonna shake my hand? Or is he going to be rude?
