Animated Movies a let down this year?

Why did Rango win? Seriously, I got bored watching that movie. It wasn't terrible, it's just mediocre.

Puss in Boots should have won. Not only was the story entertaining, they used the 3D effect very well. As the reviewer in my local paper said, "best use of 3D since Avatar."

I don't get why any of Myizaki's films never get nominated.

That's not really true. Spirited Away actually won the Oscar and Howl's Moving Castle was nominated. I think Ponyo was nominated, but I may be wrong on that.

Ponyo was not nominated as far as I know. I meant lately. It suonded right in my head. I hope Arreitty get it next ear.
