You can ask me anything you want about why i believe or what i believe or anything about my faith and the Bible that you like. 3nodding

I'm especially interested in helping to strengthen the faith of those who are already believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. and you help to strengthen my faith too.

And this isn't for those of you that want to hate on Christianity and try to force me to prove to you that God exists. i'll just do the eye roll thing at you blaugh
Which gospel writer do you find the most attractive: Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John? And why?

Mine is Luke, because he's a doctor and thus has access to a prescription pad making it easier to get Viagra to spice up the bedroom.

(But John is a close second because the idea of a man dipping me in a river turns me on)

I've never liked the name Mark. I've always associated it with the word "mark", like "Mark the test!" or "there was a mark on the table!"

I like the name Luke though. Because I cute-ify it to Lukey-Luu, which sounds like Looky-Loo, and that turns me on again.

Mark my words! There was a Lukey-Loo watching me wipe my feet on the Matt in the John.

If each affirmative answer is +1, what's your total score?

1. do not believe in God
2. identify as atheist or agnostic
3. disagree that faith is important in their lives
4. have not prayed to God (in the last year)
5. have never made a commitment to Jesus
6. disagree the Bible is accurate
7. have not donated money to a church (in the last year)
8. have not attended a Christian church (in the last year)
9. agree that Jesus committed sins
10. do not feel a responsibility to “share their faith”
11. have not read the Bible (in the last week)
12. have not volunteered at church (in the last week)
13. have not attended Sunday school (in the last week)
14. have not attended religious small group (in the last week)
15. do not participate in a house church (in the last year)

Lastly how do you feel knowing Millennials are already the least religious generation in American history, and that Millennials (and younger) are increasingly rejecting your beliefs on top of that?

Which gospel writer do you find the most attractive: Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John? And why?

As a gay atheist, I realized a bit ago that I did the four Gospels. So hottest to least:

Luke, John, Mark, Matthew.

I dated Luke for about 9 months. John was attractive, but a bit crazy. Mark was decent looking. Matthew had an oddly shaped p***s.

I demand details about this oddly shaped p***s. How odd we talking here? Like, did it have a hooked nose or something, or was it just bent in an odd direction(s) ?

I replied to you via PM simply because I might otherwise earn an infraction. Lol!

do you agree that thou the bible might have been inspired by the Christian God it was actually written by humans that are indeed fallible seeing as they are mortal beings like you or I?

would you also say you agree with the statement that major aspects of the bible are outdated making it more susceptible to misinterpret of the original writers meanings and principles?

no i dont agree that the bible might have been inspired by the Christian God.
i rely on the words of God, the Christian Bible as evidence for why i believe what i believe. i, by faith, believe the accounts and testimonies of those who wrote the bible.

I believe God positively used and inspired sinful men to pen his holy and pure words that he wanted to be written. i dont believe that the integrity or purity of Gods words became compromised or impure just because they were recorded, translated and transcribed by sinful man. i believe that by the supernatural and devine will of God, he has continued to use sinful men to keep his holy, pure words preserved and available for almost all people worldwide. i believe we can hold Gods pure words in our hands today.
i believe that we can decide if we want to believe those words as truth or reject them.

i believe that certain covenants, laws and rules from the Old Testament portion of the Bible are no longer in effect since the New Testament was given and is the New Testament that is now in effect. and the New Testament changed some things, but some things remained the same.

were you raised christian from a young age?

Quotable Dabbler

i was exposed to the beliefs from the time i was 6 or 7 and taught the very basic stories of Jesus and that Jesus loves us.
my parents brought me to church once in a while. my dad was a Christian and lived and practiced what he believed, my mom claimed to be a Christian... i sort of doubt it tho.

around 19-20-21 i went through a phase where my attitude toward God was "noone was going to tell me what to do" as far as what i believed and felt pretty bitter towards the whole idea and concept of what the Bible teaches as far as salvation.

at the age of 22 i put my faith in Jesus Christ and i became a born again Christian.
Why do you believe? smile
