User ImageMemories flashed through her head. She remembered the twisted grin her aunts face as she confessed, "Your a means to an end, my dear. A Puppet. Nevertheless im sure you will make a lovely bride", with a caress the woman pulled away and walked away with a laugh, she was like a wicked witch from a fairy tale. However this was no fairy tale, it was a nightmare with no end. Tatianna was dragged off to be taken to a carriage, she was to be escorted to Bhaltair. She screamed, she pulled, she jerked, she cried. It was futile, chained and bound like a common criminal , she was shipped of to her new home her new cage.

It was hard to tell how much time passed. As she would often slip in and out of unconsciousness, perhaps due to some sedative. She eventually realized it had been about three nights, Tia refused to eat for those three day, but on the fourth she caved, she had never been so hungry before. Never before had she eaten so sloppy. Tia thought a lot, would she live to see tomorrow? would she be assassinated on her way to aries with her death labeled an accident. Or would stay at Bhaltairian court, just long enough to serve her purpose and be killed off. If this Usurper wanted heirs, a fae woman was not a smart choice. However her bloodline was a reason to marry her, she had heard the Emperor was of common blood.

The Queen would probably be used as a political hostage perhaps? They Couldn't kill her, but they couldn't let her be free, "so why not bind her with marriage", is probably what this Emperor's advisors though. No Doubt killing Tatianna would lead to massive rebellion across the whole of azuran. Suddenly the carriage came to a stop. Her frail hand rapped at the carriage door, "Why have we stopped, are we there?", she demanded. "A Short break. we must water the horses, and clean you up for your arrival at the Imperial palace", said a page.Tia gave no answer but slumped back and waited for the carriage to open, and her persons to be escorted. They were likely in a Village that was a few miles from the Capital, based on the smells.

                          A few days prior....

Adelaide stood, her thin yer pregnant figure stood, gripping the wood railing as a cold wind blew by. The Woman had insisted on visiting her brother, rather than have her husband send an envoy. Adelaide somehow convinced her husband, he was purebred beastman, the Grand Jarl of Vitbjorn, a monarch. They had been married for a number of years now, the marriage was arranged by Adelaide's Father. After he died Adelaide's brother Skjall took their fathers place as Jarl of Whitestone. Father had always dreamed of the north ruling the south or least being its own state, a dream Adela's husband shared and that is why Adelaide came. Skjall had tried to dominate the north and overthrow orin but it failed. Luckily he covered his tracks and came out unscathed. Adela had also heard her brother was with a girl of mysterious Origins. The icy maiden wasn't really sure what she thought of that, Oh wait yes she did. She didnt like dumb helpless girls and got into a mans bed for his pocket and coin. However she was assuming. Her brother was as foolish as any man when it came to women.

Sighing Adelaide also reflected on other events. The Archduke her former sovereign, had married a Fae but not his intended bride, but the cousin of his bride, a princess of Azuran called Celeste. Adela wondered why they had not sent Celeste in the first place, why not use someone disposable if there was such an option. But connecting the fact that Celeste mother was the regent, wife of brother to the Late Queen Katerina one could see why one might move Queen Tatianna out of the country for personal greed. Nevertheless it was no matter now Azuran was Bhaltairs b***h. Azuran had maintained its self as a kingdom using its Azurite to keep the other powers at bay, a valiant effort indeed. Better to exist as a province than not exist at all. Finally the Boat docked, Adelaide was in Zahnthe, she would likely rest at at an inn before continuing on. As Adela left the boat to the docks. Fishermen would notices the unsettling presence of a Vitbjornese fleets coming to docks, as it was definitely more than just an escort.

Raginese General Jeriko Gass
The Wild Joker

~~ Two weeks prior ~~

Jeriko sat quietly in his study. His eyes slowly scanned the document in front of him and he let out a labored sigh. Shaking his head he placed the paper back on the table and reclined in his chair. The words on the page were a direct order by the Sultan that he was to accompany them during their trip to Zahnthe. Something about it just did not sit right with him. The Sultan had his own royal guard, why bother bring one of his generals along? The question plagued him but an order is an order. His thoughts were broken as a small knock came from the doorframe.

Shifting his eyes to the already open door he saw Helen along with another one of his men. The man accompanying her gave a quick salute before walking away from the doorway as if his job was done. Helen glanced down the hall to make sure the man was out of sight before stepping into the room with a cold face. “You sent for me?” her words hung in the air for a few moments. It was obvious from her tone that his summons must have interrupted something but then again she was one of the few soldiers under his command who could get away with saying such things to him and get away with it.

“I’m glad you can make it Helen,” Jeriko said as he stood from his chair sizing her up. Making a motion at the door as if to close it he stepped around his desk to lean on the front of it. Watching as the girl closed the door slowly he then continued, “so I’ve been ordered to accompany the Sultan on a trip to Zahnthe. Honestly as much as I have faith in the man I doubt his royal guard will be very keen on protecting much else other than his little group. Thus I am going to bring a few of my men too, insurance policy.”

The woman stared at him and her brow furrowed slightly. Although she never really said it she cared for the man and it was times like this that worried her. “So why did you call for me?” she asked avoiding showing her concern for the man.

With that question Jeriko smiled. He stood upright from the desk and took a few steps toward a small chest on the side of the room. Placing his hand on the chest he said aloud, “I want you to accompany me.” An audible click came as he opened the chest. Within was a few sets of ceremonial daggers covered in ornate decorations, seals and medallions. Most of them were for awards and the like for soldiers or given as status symbols for promotion. Taking one of the daggers and a few of the medallions from the small pile he turned back to the woman. “Helen I want you to join my honor guard,” his words were much more stern than before, much more formal.

Helen’s eyes fell on the dagger and other various medals in the man’s hands. “Joker I…” she started out feeling a sense of pride that he would choose her to be part of his personal guard. Reaching out she placed her hand on the dagger but it was more than that. Her fingers fell past the dagger and pressed to the man’s palm. “I’ll protect you with my life,” her words finally came out as she drew her hand away holding the dagger.

“Hopefully that day will never come,” the man answered as his face softened. He was happy that he had her to rely on.

~~ Current Time ~~

The sound of horses slowly became drowned out by the sounds of city life as the caravan neared the city. The Sultan, their advisors and royal guard had taken to the front of their caravan as the capital came into view and behind them were two horse drawn carts with supplies for the journey. Although not an oppressively long trek, especially on horseback they would not leave without making sure the Sultan was well provisioned for the trip.

Jeriko however did not have such luxury. Although he was a general he stood by the belief that he had to hold himself to the same standards of his other men. He only had what was in the packs on his horse just like the honor guard that accompanied him and an additional horse in case any of theirs got sick along the way. Before the trip he had only chosen four people to join him including Helen which in perspective was far less than the guards that accompanied the Sultan but it would have to do. He figured something is better than nothing and that if they really were in danger even with his whole honor guard at his side there is no way they would be able to make it to the safety of their borders quickly.

Thier convoy was met at the magnificent gates by some guards. They spent some time held up there talking to them it seemed. Jeriko watched from behind the two horse drawn carts wondering why there was a hold up. He guessed one of the guards must have not known that they had an audience and was causing a fuss.

XXXXXX ▸ ▹ ▸ Last night must of been a wonderful night for Sayuu to have been asleep. She laid sprawled out upon her side of the bed. Her hand was against her face, and her leg had seemed to be handing off of the bed at the knee. The covers were shifted all about the bed, though most of them seemed to been tugged in the direction of her wife, leaving only the large corner covering the woman's midriff. The other hand was properly holding the pillow a slight bit up, as if surrounding the pillow around her neck made this even more enjoyable. Truth be told, it was. If she could snore, she probably would be. She was not a noisy individual. Sayuu, the brown hare, was a silent sleeping wonder. It was hard to imagine a tall strong young woman, a gentle giant like herself, would make anything more than the quietest and softest breathing. She was not above drooling; however, as she certainly was quite a over-salivating sleeper. The sun had only just started to peek It's way through the treeline. Into the window the rays of the sun had opened the curtains. It washed the warmth over Sayuu's face, a gentle kiss good morning. But this was not without a grumble and a dissatisfied fit. The sun's bright rays beacon Sayuu's eyes, causing them to flinch and gently open. The hand that rested on her face had now blocked her eyes from the sun's annoying shimmer. She could hear the birds chirping out in the woods. Their rabbits were getting anxious, their small squeaks and rustling had also alerted the Hare. You may question why a Hare has pet rabbits. Call it slavery, but Sayuu has given them a wonderful home to live. She has not the ounce of disrespect for these young primitive creatures. They bring her ginormous amounts of joy. Giving them the space in the house to run around and play, giving them a wide variety of vegetables and meats to gnaw on, this was the farthest thing from slavery.

Sayuu's attempt to be rid the sun resulted in her turning over. Ah, there she was. Sayuu's half open eyes laid upon the back of her wifes head. The ruffled and messy white hair of the woman she adorned. She seemed to hog most of the blankets. Perhaps she was cold last night? Ah no matter, as she has found some warmth. Sayuu did not mind this at all. She crept closer to this woman, she fit herself onto Lucetta's backside. Her hand running over the woman's stomach and gripping the side that touched the bed. She appropriately allowed herself to cradle into the woman and rest there for awhile. A few more minutes of a blissful nap, she certainly longed for. But as the minutes passed, the sun warmed the back of her head, she knew it was time to get up. She did not want too, she would wait some more, but she could not wait forever. She rolled Lucetta and herself over. She had gotten her wife to use her as a bed now. The much smaller woman laying completely on her stomach, chest, and thighs. She hoped this was comfortable to her. She seemed so tuckered out, it would not settle well with Sayuu if she was woken earlier than she wanted. She rubbed the little ones back gently, using her hand as a shield to the sun once more, she let her gaze fall to the window. It was a beautiful morning, certainly. There was a n** in the air, followed by heat from the sun. Today seemed like it should be fair weather, both in temperature, and forecast. Lucetta loved the heat, the warmer it seemed to be, the better. Even though it was certainly dangerous. On chilly mornings, or evenings, or even midday, She let Lucetta come by the forge and get warmed up. She also prepared some warm beverages to help as well.

In her long imaginative glance, she had seemed to lose track of time. No matter it was not like time had seemed to go by that quickly. She kissed her wifes forehead, and slowly shifted her back into her spot of the bed, bundling her up with the blankets. The little noises she made in her sleep were calm on the heart. It made the taller hare gush like a small child. She swung her legs over the edge of the bed and got out. She moved over to the bathroom and slid inside. She turned the faucet to the bathtub, and she allowed an appropriate warm water fill inside the tub. She took her clothing off and set her night clothes into the small metallic bin that rested by the door. She pushed her long snowy hair up as she stretched, arching her body slightly. It was funny, peeping toms would of certainly gotten what they were looking for. But this was no time for those silly games. More importantly, she took her wedding ring off and set it on the open countertop. There was plenty of room for this ring to sit. She made sure it was clear of falling off, into a drain, floor, toilet, anywhere she could run the risk of losing it. She did not want to rust the metal. She slid her tanned bare skin into the bathtub and sank, she felt so relaxed now, the water was an appropriate temperature. Hot, but not scolding. It was hot enough to allow steam to fill the room. There were many soaps and shampoos that lined the outer side of the rub on some fancy racks. She spent a good portion of her time bathing and getting ready to start her day. It was still quite early, it was around 7am. It was time for Sayuu to open. Her business hours were from 7am to 7pm. It seemed ridiculous to work 12 hour days like this. But she did it every day, 6 days a week. She did not work on Sundays. Not for any religious reason, but Sundays were such a commodity to her. She spent the majority of the day spending time with Lucetta. She also decided to close early on some days, if she felt Lucetta was particularly antsy or upset from the lack of attention. Sayuu could not blame the poor girl. She was often extremely busy with her work, she just some times did not have the time for Lucetta, and it destroyed her to think on such things.

Sayuu wrapped her wet body in a towel. She entered the bedroom once more and laid her clothes out. It did not seem like much -- what she wore. A simple bikini top with some shorts overlaying her underwear, but to be honest her forge was very hot. Working in front of this fire for 12 hours was enough to make you sweat during a winter day. Even with drinking water. She did not honestly care either, this was her home, even though customers sometimes came to put in an order, or purchase weapons in their front office, she wore whatever she damn near pleased.

She laid out Lucetta's clothes for her as well. She knew Lucetta was not a child -- even if she maybe looked like one -- she was older than Sayuu believe it or not. This was just her caretaker side coming out. She set her clothes out every morning for no apparent reason. She just liked too. She moved herself out the back porch and she went to the rabbits pen. Keeping them in a pen seemed idiotic since they could burrow out -- sometimes they did -- but they seemed to not run off. They stayed on the property, with Lucetta and Sayuu. They really don't know why, perhaps it was because they were apart of Sayuu and Lucetta's family. Their many little children that ran around squeaking and munching carrots. Sayuu opened the pen, and sure enough the litter had run about. They followed Sayuu to the garden where she had gathered a few healthy carrots. She used the knife that was on the porch table outdoors, specifically for cutting the carrots to give the rabbits, and did just that. She cut them into smaller baby carrots. They followed her wherever she'd went. They were hungry!

She sat on the wooden porch steps and gave each of them a carrot. They huddled around her and munched away at it.

" Momma's little babies. " She spoke softly, petting the runt's soft furry head. His ears were down, but this was not a sign of fear or being afraid. He just wanted his ears rubbed. She rubbed each of the 7 rabbits' ears and waited for them to finish eating. They ran around for a bit longer, before going back into their pen. She did not allow the rabbits to be running around while she was at her forge. She did not want one of them to run over there and get burned, or hurt.

The time has finally arrived. Their home was in the capital, but they were secluded a bit from the busy bodies of the townsfolk. They had a sign, and a path that lead straight to their house. As the front office was their shop. Where they sold their weapons and potions. They also mostly ventured into town with their wares and occupied a stall as well. Each location was suitable for earning a profit. Bright and early at what seemed like mid morning. ( 8am.) She was almost finished on an order she had received yesterday. The man who'd come wanted 10 steel swords. He would be by later today for them once they were finished. He seemed to be from the fighters guild, or some renowned place of stature and respect. Initiates had seemed to come fresh in, and needed weapons for them to practice with.

She hit away at the smoldering metal sword with her hammer. She was already sweating from the fire, her skin certainly glistened in the sunlight, trickling down her stomach, over her small but visible abs. She got plenty of exercise in this field of work. It was expected she have developed quite an alluring body. (If you're into toned feminine muscle bodies that is.)

(OOC: First post out! I will update the layout to contain her business hours, and her availability, as well as status of her shop being open or closed, so it's convenient for you guys to know when she is open or not! I hope you all enjoyed the post, and hope you all enjoy the character! ^ ^ )

The Fae Queen was escorted to a nice looking lodge. The wood of the highest grade, sanded and glazed to perfection. Walking up a few steps she was inside the building, welcomed by a number of noblewomen. They greeted her warmly, but their eyes judged harshly. An Older senior looking Aristocrat approached Tatianna after the Queens bondage was undone. " I'am Lady Bryant, We will ready you for your royal procession into the city. But", her voice froze as she eyed the Queens Native clothes with criticism, " You must rid of anything Azuranian. You must only wear Bhaltairian clothes. It is custom". Hearing this Tatianna produced aghast expression. "Even rings", Added the woman. With that a younger woman approached to take the Royal Fingers of Tia's fingers which represented the Sylvarra house, and another with the nations seal. Tatianna pulled away, so other woman joined in and held the Queen arm while the other pulled the rings off.

"Give that back!", stammered the cringing queen. "Please your majesty. Cooperate", said lady Bryant."I will not submit to such discrimination!", said Tia as she went to retrieve her ring. Only to be seized by two maids by her arms and taken to a room. Tatianna continued to be troublesome but eventually the women got her clothes off. But getting the new dress on was even bigger problem. " No i won't wear it!", spat the Fae as she ran around the room in the nude from the maid who held the dress. The Lady Bryant sighed and rolled her eyes. "If you don't!", she said raising her voice, "Then i suppose i have no choice but to end my life, Should i dare go against the palace", pulling a small blade the woman aimed at her self. "Wait stop. Just stop I'll do what you ask but don't hurt yourself", the woman had to be mad, but she was following royal decree. Some countries had rules like this when accepting a foreign queen. " Please give me a moment alone. Their were no windows or shafts so Tia couldn't run, so Lady bryant agreed and dismissed everyone.

Tatianna need to get her crown back, her country. Perhaps it would be in her best interest to play a long and stop fighting this change of fate? Perhaps her Goddesses were testing her, to see if she was Worthy of being a Queen. Yes, she needed to Win the hearts of Bhaltair and this emperor, that was the way. Submitting to her situation she invited those who were to attend to her back in. A Dress of Rosy pink was put on the Queen. The Sleeves detached so they had to be tied to the bodice which was short. Not much was done to her hair it was simply brushed and then adorned with a Pearl snood. Next Tia was met by a priest, she was asked to revoke her faith, and accept this Deltair as her one true and only god? Though greatly reluctant, Tatianna agreed, and signed a document, crying as she did. This showed that she agreed to denounce the goddesses and accept Deltair, in further proof of this she was christened Catherine Lucretzia Sylvarra.

It was nearly time to depart but not immediately. The Noblewomen gave "Catherine" a briefing on rules and etiquette of the Bhaltair court, some of which she already new. Cathy was also introduced to her women who were to be Ladies, all of whom were supposedly from great families s, probably seeking favor with the new emperor. Strangers? that's what they all were to Catherine, she sighed at ow trapped she would feel, hopefully she could make a friend out of one of these women. Finally it was time to depart and the Queen and her new ladies were escorted to a new Bhaltairian carriage. It was bigger than your average carriage, with an gilded exterior and crimson roof. It could seat a handful of people, and had a miniature library attached. After the Carriage was boarded it took off. Women would address her by her new name every now and then, it was hard to get used to, but necessary.

User ImageJeriko let out an audible sigh as he looked back to his small band of men. To his knowledge they were still a little early for their audience anyway so maybe getting to see the town would be a nice detour. Thinking it over for a few moments he figured maybe the guards would let them through. After all they did look rather unassuming compared to the Sultan and the royal guard. After crossing the border he told the group to stand down and wear their off duty clothing. As much as they were from another country he did not want to bring unneeded attention to them lest unsavory people come across the caravan.

After instructing three of the men to stay with the Sultan he made his away around the group with Helen at his side. The guards at the front gate gave them a simple nod as they passed. Their little ruse must have worked, after all they did just look like the average traveller. As they slipped into the city his eyes slowly scanned the people walking the streets. It was lively and colorful with a pleasant hum of commotion. It was a shame that it was the very same country beset with war with a rather formidable foe.

Passing one vendor after another he came up with the thought to try and get some form of souvenir while there. Admittingly ever since he moved to Raginei he had not left the country and that was nearly a decade ago. The feeling of being in a new place filled him with an odd sense of nostalgia, and he wondered if Helen felt much the same. As they passed each building a ringing sound came faintly to him. At first it was like a bell or a wind chime but as they drew closer he could tell it was the deliberate sound of metal hammering metal. His lips formed a grin realizing it was a smithy.

Looking at his companion he could tell she was stressed. Her face may have not shown much emotion but the way her eyes darted and scanned every person was a telltale sign that she was uneasy around these people. Although he did not believe they had much reason to worry he appreciated her diligence to keep them both safe. Wanting to get her mind off of the crowds of people in the streets he thought here would be as good as ever. “Helen shall we?” he asked aloud not expecting any form of response from the girl and like he thought she only gave a slight nod.

Bringing their horses to the front of the shop they dismounted. The two of them were sure to tie their reins off at a nearby post and Helen took a brief moment to show some affection to her steed. While she was distracted he slipped into the storefront his eyes giving the room a quick look over to see if there was any form of shopkeep. Seeing no one immediately in the shop he took a moment to look at the wares and much to his surprise the quality was superb. Weapons like these are a pretty rare find. Most of the stock he was used to was rather average if not poor because of the nature of buying bulk weapons and armor for his troops so it was a very refreshing sight for a soldier.

His concentration was yet again broke by the sound of hammering. This time though he wanted to see who made these magnificent weapons. Walking slowly to the cracked door leading to the noise he peered through the gap for a moment. To his surprise what he thought would be a strapping man was a lean and tan woman. The sweat on her body shined brilliantly in the morning sun and the precision at which her body moved to hammer the metal was amazing. He pushed the door open fully but remained in the room as he called out a greeting to her, “greetings smithy. Are you open? I saw your shop as I was passing through and I was really taken in by the quality of your craft.”

James was drumming the arm of his throne with his fingers, gradually losing patience. his chin rested on one hand, while his eyes never left the younger man speaking to him. Two years ago, as a minor noble, he had to listen to reports and such about his holdings from his favored scribe, who liked being precise and to the point. This young man, however, had a habit of rambling some about things that he thought might need more in depth explanations, or things he just particularly fancied. Right now though, James was less listening to him and more going over ideas in his head about what to do to him. a glance around his throne showed many nobles keeping eyes and tabs on his habits. they were trying to gauge his mood, apparently. well that was a useful trait.

Most of his court were former members of the Fangs of Fenris or the Wolf's Howl sects that held faith to the Fenris Wolf. some were priests or priestess of the Church of the Sun, and others Deltair. Not that he cared much for that third set. but he had to keep the peace, and it helped him keep an eye on thier 'Pope' and his rising strength in places his church was dominant. He even had a spy within it's ranks.

But he was not amused when the topic went from local politics and military and domestic budgets and requests to foreign policies...particularly with Azuran. Zanthe he was already aware of. and still held thier 'archduke' if you could call that skirtchaser that, in low standing. but Azuran was a different beast. he had no love for Ophelia, and knew as well as she did this little ploy and what it was for, but Tatianna...he remembered her, from that ball two years prior. she'd shown great strength and composure then, though he was sure the veneer might be a little worn this time with the arrangement made so much more obvious then with Zanthe.

"Hold a moment. What were you saying about the Azuran Queen?"

"That Lady Bryant took several other young courtesans with her to see that she was properly attired for life in your Court, my lord..and her previous attire would be sent here to be properly disposed of as per custom. she's your Empress now, not a member of Azuran." It was said matter of factly, as if this should be expected, and not questioned.

"I want her personal belongings put in her own private chambers. not destroyed. she is an Azuran Queen, as much as she is Bhaltair's Empress. and who came up with that custom?! That practically screams 'resent me'. let me take a guess though. Our former King, whom Hilda's disposed of."

the young man gave a shrug and a nod.

"As far as I know in that, my Lord...it's been the custom for many noble houses since before I was born. And why are you insisting on a private chamber for your intended?"

That was a question on much of the court's mind, apparently, as he noticed a large shift in eyes. he pinched the bridge of his nose a moment before sitting up in his seat, looking very much then the monarch he now was.

"First, I was not born to nobility, so noble trappings mean little to me in that. You will do as told, or so help me I will make you wish you hadn't been pushed out of your mother's womb. As to the sleeping arrangements. Since it seems many of you have some question on it."

Cutting his gaze across the room of his court, before giving a slight smirk.

"This is the second time the young Queen has been set to an arranged marriage for political gain of the Regeant. First was to Zanthe. now to us. I imagine that our young Queen is in no mood for romantic inclinations. or forced arrangements. I will give her space, as will you all. Her faith, her personal belongings, these are hers. I gave Bhaltair religious freedom. that includes her own. They are not to be questioned or mocked, anymore then I mock Deltair or any of the patrons of the Church of the Sun."

Lady Bryant though. She was probably not one of the better choices to have got sent to see the Queen. Very stuck in old ways. One of the few that had been in power before Malah..lost it during her reign, and he had given it back to her. She'd been one of the financial bankers to the Fangs of Fenris. Steepling his fingers in front of his face, before giving a gesture for the young scribe to be dismissed.

"Make sure that Lady Bryant is informed of the change to the policy on the clothing when they arrive. I don't want any of her things destroyed. and I want to be informed the second she arrives."

Getting himself up, and walking down from his throne to his own private chambers. It was lavish, but not gaudily so. a four posted bed with wolf themes, a large amoire and some side tables. a few animal skin rugs...and his favorite companion these past few years. the large grey wolf laid at the foot of his bed, and watched him. he'd found him caught in a trap while out surveying his new lands, and had taken him in.

"Lets hope that your day is going better then mine, my friend."

Giving a light smirk and a pat to his head, ruffing the fur a bit before getting himself undressed and resting in a warm bath, something to ease his tensions. but once the Queen was here, and became Emperess...he hopefully could turn his attention to less stressful things them marriage and domestic politics...and something a little more enjoyable. like foreign wars.

Dawn had come as it had any other day. The sun rose up, with it would rise Sayuu and the rabbits in the pen outside. Life began to churn and wake under the rays of glorious ball that hung high in the air. All would come to wake, while beings of the night came to rest. Yet still some would find it hard to wake. . . bundling themselves in layers of blankets. Pushing their heads under pillows and trying to hide from the sun. This was the case with the girl Sayuu had left sleeping in bed. A rather small being, no bigger then an eleven year old child, had bundled herself in their sheets. She had clung to the heat not wanting to let one bit of it go and escape into the cool morning air. . . A groan. . . would rise from the mass of pillows and blankets that coated the small being. With an air of reluctance, the figure began to sit up.

Soft, floaty, white hair would be the first noticeable feature as she popped out from under the covers. It was a bit messy from sleep , yet still looked oddly proper. A set of odd, blue-purple eyes could be seen next . . .they looked to be the eyes of a dark dweller. Demon like. . . yet oddly innocent as a soft glow could be seen within them. Smooth , porcelain skin like that of the doll of the same name. A being of pure elegance . . . or . . at least one would think. With a big yawn, a small set of fangs could be seen within the girls mouth as she rubbed the top of her head and moved to the beds edge. " Lucetta should open a rain potion and make the sun sleep for a little longer. . . " Rubbing her eyes, she went to slide off the bed but ended up falling forward and hitting the ground with a thud. Laying face down, Lucetta simply sighed. " She sees it is going to be the "one of those days" . . . as Sayuu calls it. "

With another groan, she rolled about the floor before hitting a wall . . and then proceeded to crawl to the bathroom for a much needed cold shower to wake her up.

With the shower done, the small girl had been refreshed and was now wide awake and ready for the day. Going back into the bedroom, she could see the set of cloths that had been left out for her. A little white outfit with a black under-dress. Some thigh highs , black shoes, a mantle , and a ribbon for holding the mantle up. " Ah . Sayuu. . . " with a smile, she would unfold the clothing and dress herself. It was as she finished she got a rather funny feeling. " Visitors . . . " Floating up from the floor, she would go over to a window as a few people on horses had arrived . . . they looked . . . important. Yet she could not recall having seen them before. New customers maybe? Tilting her head, she tapped her chin a bit before simply giving a bit of a shrug. " Manu. . . Anahi. . ." Mumbling to herself words of a lost people, she would eventually turn and float out of the room.

As the two visitors came to greet Sayuu, Lucetta had gone and prepared for them some tea. Though the girl could not cook to save her life, tea was something she was quite good at. This was mostly do to her background in potions and knowing a good deal about herbs and how to balance out the flavors. Lucetta had often found ways of making medicines taste good, most notably for children who had a hard time taking them. Ironically , the same could not be said for any real food substance the girl had tried to make.

Setting up a tray, she put her witches pouch on thigh and a few potions on the tray for the guests to look at if they so chose to. A few cups for tea, the pot, sugar, and some cream. With a nod, the girl floated out of the home ( tray fallowing her via psionic power ) and over to the forge where the guests had entered.

Going into the forge shortly after them, Lucetta gave a polite - soft spoken greeting to them all. "Good morning . . .Rafimanyuu " ( A general morning greeting ) A kind, yet warm smile could be seen on the small girls face as she floated in the forge. The tray of tea being placed down on a table near by. " Good morning Sayuu! Lucetta has brought the iced of tea's to help keep the body cool. " Lacing her fingers together she gave a small bow of her head to their guests. " Reehmna. . . ah that is. . . Please enjoy yourself. . . Lucetta shall assist if anything is needed. " Her voice was soft, soothing , calm in it's tone. . . yet she seemed to speak in an accent not truly placable within the world. A mystic being indeed one who gave a strong contrast to the forge master set before them.

Catherine examined this scenery from her carriages window, aimlessly has the carriage move through the dirt roads to the capital. All the Queen could id worry about what her life may be like, what obstacles she would face, how hard would be to live in this new court. Could she coexist with this emperor? Could she ever harbor any warmth for man of a land that had caused her so much distress. Ultimately it was the fear and stress of Cathair that made Queen katerina deathly ill, and it was ultimately this land that tore the sylvarra family apart. Though perhaps it was to prudent to blame everything on a nation. Eventually the Carriage reached the Capital. The Fae knew not if she was well received, or in a negative matter, she was to drowned in her own thoughts and feelings, Meanwhile girls gossiped and laughed. Such fake smiles and made up faces? and to what end, how frivolous it was. Cathy wondered how often she could get away with sending her ladies away. The Carriage rolled through the grand palace gates. They were gold, solid or perhaps gilded? The Courtyard was artful in itself.

The other women left the carriage, while the Queen decided she would exist last as she salvaged what was left of her pride and confidence. A Man approached the Lady Bryant, informing her of the new developments. "But what of Court Tradition?", she scoffed. "It is his Majesty's Order", replied the regretful male. " Tis what we get from putting a Common on our Nation's Throne", hissed the elder. Though resentful she nodded, "Very well, let his will be done", and so the order was on to rest of the retinue.

The Fae stepped out the carriage, normally she received help, but the coach just looked at the soon to be consort, with an expression that seemed to express "Hurry up already". Though he would never say that aloud. Catherine was a Queen even if not a favorite choice, she was necessary and everyone knew that. Stepping out , she moved from the carriage to the red carpet, and walked gracefully as she held her head high. Her retinue followed along accordingly, though Lady Bryant led, seeing as Cathy didn't know the way. The Fae's eyes could not help but wonder as she awed at the splendor and decadence of imperiums exterior, she had never seen architecture or style quite like, what was visible now.

The inside only proved just pretty if not prettier than the exterior. "Marvelous is it not ", commented one of Cathy's ladies. To this the Queen nodded. " We Convinced his Majesty to allow us to redecorate, after all this Palace will be yours as well", said the Lady-in-waiting again. The Ladies came to a Parlor, where Tatianna was asked to take a seat on a sofa. "His Majesty shall greet you formally, soon. We will check upon you later, Your Highness", With that Lady Bryant and all the Ladies curtsied and left the Parlor, Leaving Cathy by herself, save for the idle pages. The Queen couldn't help but examine the details of the Parlor. So much beauty it was a bit gaudy. Cathy began looking at at a flower arrangement, that appeared wrong, so the Queen took to her own creativity, and swapped flowers around, rearranging them Harmoniously, "Now that's better", she said to her self in her soft voice.

XXXXXX ▸ ▹ ▸ There. The weapons were close to completion. They needed to cool down and retain their form. In the meantime, she had too tend to the smelter so that she could get this weeks order of ore into ingots. But before she could move, her large and signature ears seemed to twitch. The sounds reached her ear over the forges howling fires. She looked up from the fires of her forge and looked out towards the front of their home, she could see horses tied to their appropriate stakes, and left unattended. Oh someone was here? She wanted to go look, but the heated metal of the sword needed her attention for a bit longer, as to get the appropriate angling on the blade, so that when she put it on the grindstone, it would be sharp enough to cut the finger and draw blood, from simply touching it. However even though she felt uneasy not going into the shop and helping whomever had came into the shop, her feeling would be put to rest as the door had opened back up. Though no one seemed to come out, she stopped in a mid swing of the hammer and looked up at them.

She could of guessed by the way their horses seemed to be decked in gracious clothing and wonderful armors that they certainly seemed rather important, and quite foreign. You just didn't see that style on a horse around Zahnthe. But where could they be from? She was drawn from her stupor as the man addressed her. He seemed polite enough, had a nice tone as well. She set her hammer on the stone rim of the forge. She reached over and dipped the cloth into the water bucket and rang it out on her face. It felt great after the workout she seemed to get preparing the swords. She moved to them before nodding her head, though it seemed more introduced as a bow of the head.

" Good Morning, Sir. " she started, her voice was mystical in it's own sense. It held no harsh tone, only a common quality, simple minded tongue. She could even of passed for a Royal lady, should she not of been born from a tribe. But one should never get it wrong that she does not love her current life, because she certainly does.

" I am open of course, You would be the first ones today. " She retorted, with a simple and elegant wave of the hand, she redirected them to her forge, as she shouldn't be away from it for too long.

" I am quite enthralled you enjoy my work. Most of my pieces around here are in the form of Zahnthe culture. I have books and knowledge of the other countries cultures and style of their weaponry. I have some sample pieces of other countries should you be interested in taking a look at them. " She asked, while she picked up the adolescent steel sword and continued to shape the blade with her hammer.

She would remain quiet for but a moment, sheer concentration in making sure she was accurate in assembling the curvature of the blades point. Once the prep work was finished, she picked up the blade and ran her finger down it. She had been feeling for imperfections, bumps in the blade that signaled weak and bubbly holes in the metal. Once content with what she felt. She took a step back, she held her hand back. She put the weapon behind her back.

" It will be but just a moment. " She asked the two guests, trying not to be rude!

She took a few practice swings with this blade, the aerodynamics were golden, it cut through the wind with little drag, before turning one hundred and eighty degrees and throwing the blade at the tree. Clearly this was a demo tree as it was heavily scarred. The blade pierced the bark and remained still in the wood.

" It passes for now. I will have to sharpen it to get better results. " She spoke aloud, but to herself. She turned to her guests and held her arms out.

" Well, that's enough for now. -- " she stopped, she was interrupted by a little snowflake of a woman. Lucetta had walked outside with some fresh iced tea for her. Ah she was a kind soul, perhaps this was her way of getting back at her for setting her clothes out. She returned her hands to her side and moved to her wife.

" Thank you, sweetheart. Did you sleep well? " She asked, taking her beverage and taking in a drink of it. Using the free hand to pat her back. She'd not much minded for who was in front of them, she always spoke to lucetta in a kind and adorning way, despite guests. She got up and set the glass of tea on her station. Before readdressing them, ah she was being rude. . .

" Terribly sorry, So what brings the both of you here? Are you from exotic places outside of Zahnthe -- Looking for blades that meet your requirements? " She'd asked, getting down to the point, though she refrained from being annoying on the matter.

" Perhaps my wife can prepare you some medical potions for your journey, keep you healthy and fit. We'd be happy to supply you, You seem quite important -- Only deserving of legendary supplies to keep you that way. " she spoke with such glee, before she returned to her forge just a few inches away and grabbed a pair of tongs. She would not bombard them with too much questions, she felt bad enough.

His bath was quite nice, and he dozed a bit, before his companion's warning growl at the door got him to slide one eye open, and give a slight groan as he lifted himself up from the water, drying off with a towel and putting on a robe for the moment. the door was still shut, but the nervous knocking could be heard. probably afraid of the wolf. But all the same, the door was opened, the wolf not even raising to his feet just yet. the young man from earlier.

"I take it you are here to let me know the fae queen has arrived?"

He gave a nod, and James smirked lightly, glancing at the wolf. who gave a blink and lowered himself on the floor in a somewhat bored manner.

"No need to worry about him. Now then, I believe according to custom, she should be getting herself ready a bit after her trip. and I am not supposed to see her until some kind of formal introduction thing. But..since I make the rules, and as a sign of good faith, have her jewelry given back to her. that should help ease her mind a bit in a new place. that'll be all the contact until this 'formal' meeting thing I'm sure most the nobility will insist on."

Giving an idle wave of his hand, and walking to the amoire. but noticing the man still there, and shuffling his feet.

"What is it..something has your stomach turning."

opening the doors and looking over various outfits, and his newest armor. that matched his crown and devotion to Fenris nicely with it's wolf head imagery and wolf fur adornments. debating on wether or not to ear the full regalia or something simple.

"Lady Bryant was very displeased at the lack of adherance to custom."

James chuckled lightly and shook his head.

"I imagine she would be. Very much a woman of traditions, that one. Worried she'll punish the messenger for this little task I assigned, are you? well don't be. Lady bryant make be old fashioned, but she knows when and where to protest. which means usually under her own breath. Do as your instructed...and if she does lay hand to you, I'll be more then happy to lay hand to her in a manner of speaking."

Letting the young man take his leave then, probably not as sure of himself as James wanted him to be...before taking a look back at the outfits. well something simple might make him seem more personable to Tatianna...but he knew his court would prefer the full regalia. being Emperor was more taxing then he originally though. he could see how the former Queen had gotten sickly under the mental stress alone.

But full regalia would work, and would probably keep Bryant's mouth as it should be. Shut. So on with the full armor and crown, though for now leaving off the cloak and sword. No need to be armed in his own chambers, or wear that heavy thing. So over to his desk, and onward to looking over the various edicts and potential laws to consider, as well as general reports from his Fenrirs and military commanders and Viceroys. At least it was usually interesting reading.

He thought it was curious that she was using magic so well for such a young girl but as she spoke her words and accent let on that there was much more to her then met the eye. Maybe she was not human, that though was beyond his understanding. Either way it was quite the sight to behold and although he was curious he felt it would be more respectful to not ask for the moment. Helen had already walked into the shop too and stared over his shoulder at the two as they gave their introductions.

He gave the two of them a warm smile seeing the short one give a bow. “Lucetta is it?” he asked rhetorically, “what a lovely voice you have. As for our introductions I’m Jeriko.” He matched her bow with one he was accustomed to feeling a refreshing sense of delightment bowing before someone other than a noble for once. Looking back to his companion after straightening up he lifted a hand as if to introduce her continuing, “and this is Helen, my companion.”

With that the woman glanced away and took a step toward one of the tables in the room. It was obvious she was trying to avoid the conversation by looking interested in their wears. Jeriko figured she would be just fine for now and getting distracted was just what she needed. Turning back to them he watched as Sayuu was finishing her blade. “Well I wanted to actually get something of a souvenir while here,” he said after the girl spoke of the pieces she normally made, “A piece of Zahnthe culture from someone such as yourself would be perfect.”

Seeing the two of them be so affectionate made him happy. It had been a while since he got out of the regimental camps and for the most part he only really saw noble couples who never seemed to really be fulfilled with their love. These two though made him yearn for that feeling again. It had been many years since he properly fell in love. His thoughts were pierced when Sayuu asked why they were there. “We’re travelling from Raginei,” he answered a bit more carefully than before, “we came in with the Sultan’s caravan and will likely leave with them as well.”

“Does your wife make poisons?” Helen’s voice finally came out from the room.

Jeriko let out a small sigh with her question. To him it was pretty obvious that she did not but then again if that small girl could make potions it was not entirely out of the question. “Well I guess I was looking for a blade. Maybe a dagger.” Taking a few more steps toward the forge he unfastened the leather strap holding his schiavona “Before that though,” he said pulling the scabbard off of his hip and holding it out for her, “It’s from one of the finest smithies in Raginei. Take a look.”

The small being just seemed to idly float by with a rather content look on her face as Sayuu spoke to their guests. With a pat on her back a small smile would form, causing her to push her face down into the high collar of her mantle. " Lucetta would have tried to make something for Sayuu and her guests to eat. . .but. . " poking her fingers together she gave a small sigh of a chuckle. " She is not good at the cooking. . . " The chuckle of words would end in a sigh as she looked down. Her head would come back up, though, when Sayuu brought up the idea of Lucetta making them some potions. Oh! How exciting. Lucetta loved to make potions for others. In her book, the more exotic a potion someone wanted - the more she could experiment about with compounds and really show how creative she was while doing it. She would remain silent for the moment, allowing their guests to make up their minds on what they wanted to do. Though she did give off a rather eager air now that her potions had been introduced.

Proper Introductions had been given, a small bow of the head could be seen from Lucetta with each name that was said. Jeriko and Helen. Those were nice names! The man even gave her a compliment causing her to tilt her head down into her collar once more. A voice was still something new to her . . . having spent all of those years in silence. . . it was fun to know she had a 'nice one'. Sayuu had complimented her over it from time to time which often gave Lucetta a small sense of pride in it. With that said, praise was also a new concept to the small girl. . . of which Sayuu was not shy about giving her.

Getting back to the conversation, the man had gone on to say where they were from and what they had come for. He had come seeking some of Zahnthe's craftsmanship calling it a 'souvenir'. Such a strange word that is. . . though she was sure that Sayuu had used it once before. . .it meant something like. . a gift . or keepsake. Pondering this, the small girl would tilt her head to the side. A puzzled look being drawn onto her child like face. So-vin-ear . . . she would say in her head over and over again. Ah but then there came another fact. . . they had come in with the Sultan. . . and were from Raginei. " . . Raginei? " She would look to Sayuu a bit confused. " . . . That is . . . a Yahmuna . . er. . . Land . . place. Yes? The um. . sandy one? " Sayuu had told her about the many lands of the world. . but it was not something that really came up all too often in conversation. The girl had only been out of her crystal for little over . . maybe even under a year at this point. . News did not come fast to those in the woods - even when she went into the villages to sell or buy things the topics of conversation were usually not too direct. Yes. .she knew some sort of war had occurred. . but was a little ignorant on the facts at hand. " Lucetta is embarrassed. . . she apologizes for her ignorance . " with a bow of her head she went silent again.

Not a moment later did Helen speak up. Perking up a bit, Lucetta brought her hands up below her chin and tapped the tips of her fingers together in a thinking manner. " Poisons? " Tilting her head she looked over at Helen with a calm yet inquisitive look. " Hmm . . " Nodding she smiled. " Ru da Ru da! . . Yes yes. . . Lucetta is quite capable of crafting Miss Helen any form of poison she may need. " Putting a finger to her lips she gave a small wink. " It is not Lucetta's place to ask what the poison is for . . . . Lucetta only needs to know what Miss Helen would like the result to be. " As a being who made medications, poisons, and . . things of all kinds. . it was never in her interest to ask what the potion would be used for . . only what it needed to do. Yes , she could infer what the potion was for. . but it was none of her business. It was sort of like a silent agreement when a request was made. In this way, it showed a good deal of respect to those buying her products. . in this case. . Helen.

" Now then. . . Hueknew ahwaku jahr? What would Miss Helen like? Lucetta has slow toxins, scentless liquids, quick working venom . . . or . . Lucetta can enchant a weapon Sayuu makes with the toxin of your choosing. " Tapping her fingers together she smiled once more. " Aside from Toxins. . Lucetta may also enchant a weapon with magic or . . . " waving her hands for a moment, a soft glow could be seen forming before her chest. Energy began to gather at the center point. . and soon a crystal took shape before them. . a blow glow coming from within. Taking the crystal out of the air, she held the gem in her hand. " . . . Sayuu can place one of Lucetta's crystals into a blade and endow it with magic power. . . " Letting go of the stone she allowed for it to float by. . a strong magical aura emitting off of it. At first glace. . . the ability just came off as something . . strange. Though looking into it - The girl had just manifested something that was just like Azurite out of thin air.

" Lucetta is ready to make anything that is required!" Placing her hands behind her back, she would now simply wait for whatever the two decided to do.
