i'm at a point in my life where i have a large friend group but i haven't made a new friend in ages and with me transferring schools and moving no one i know is within walking distance which is v inconvenient :~( i just want nice friends who i can walk to and chill with on a regular basis without it being a hassle
how do you meet new people outside of work/school, GD?

honestly I mostly don't gaf what most people think of me

so if I think someone is trill enough to talk to, I just tell them and like become buddies

it's preferred i like being up front

yea but how do you meet them! i meet people at parties and stuff but they always live super far away like i don't have a car sad

I've heard dating is a good way to make friends when things don't work out.
But being tied down for almost three years has prevented that.

honestly having been in a relationship for as long as i was has made me super unfamiliar w how to date again
i know how to hookup w people but usually i stop talking to them after that so its not like im making bffs that way
i couldn't imagine 3 years tho

I've been thinking about this too, I meet everyone through work or other friends. It's pretty limited. I think you just need to be involved in as many things as possible. Go to the gym, go rock climbing, join groups and talk to people a lot.
