Valkyria: There is a emerging drug known as 'Mana drops' becoming prevalent in Valkyria. Mana drops is very tiny bit of pure manite coated in caramel. A single mana drop can provide a magus enough magical energy to emit magic capable of leveling a building. Naturally the drug is illegal and any caught with the substance is arrested and trialed.
Arulan: There is a superstition in Arulan that traveling in a group of exactly 5 is considered bad luck. This stemmed from a famous serial murder case where the killer would intermingle with groups of four and murder them. Thus the belief there is always one 'traitor' when five are together.
Ragnoir: A little bit of an unknown fact is that they can hold their breath under water for up to nearly 10 minutes. This theory is that the their body begins to conserve oxygen consumption when it reaches a low enough level. Thus you can never suffocate a Ragnoir easily.
Ikuzu: No one actually knows why the symbol of Ikuzu is a dragon. Many believe it comes from their belief that ages ago, Ikuzu tamed dragons as their own. But there is no sign of the existence of dragons and therefore most consider it urban legend
Serpentine: A popular method of bathing in Serpentine is a sand bath. It is akin to hot spring or a mud bath. You dip into heated sand, While the notion of it sounds painful, many claim that sand at the right temperature feels like silk against the skin. It boasts many health benefits.
Valkyria: There is a growing concern that Valkyrian females prefer to marry males from other nations giving rise to a recent boom of mixed bloods. Pure blooded Valkyrians are a rarity. In general a pure blood is more adept at magic than a mixed blood.
Ragnoir: One of Ragnoir's oldest traditions is actually a prank that has been passed down from generation to generation. When hunting, young ragnoir children are taught to catch an animal you must become the animal. One of the most common hunted animals is the chicken, thus many Ragnoir children are told to do the chicken dance when hunting them.
Arulan: In Arulan there is an event very similar to our Halloween known as the Hallow Parade. Children all across Arulan dress up for the occasion and parade the streets where the adults hand them candy.
Valkyria: Never. Ever. Ever. Mess with a Valkyrian female on her period (or be near them in general). Magic is believed to have a strong correlation with emotions. During that time of the month, a Valkyrian female magic becomes more unstable giving rise to a condition called 'Periodic Flux'. This condition causes magic to occasionally erupt around them, to those who get hit by it, it'll feel like being hit by a door suddenly being swung open. The frequency of these fluxes changes from female to female, but for the most part it depends on their mood.
Serpentine: Despite the shortage of water a common misconception that the Serpentine are also short on food. This is in fact quite untrue as the Serpentine have grown adept to eating anything that lives and grows on their land. Serpentine are known to have a courageous stomach as they will happily eat anything from insects to a common delicacy of a sludge like substance excreted from a domesticated species of scorpions the size of a cattle.
Ikuzu & Valkyria: There is a wide debate as to which nation has the the most beautiful females. This has bred an unspoken rivalry between Ikuzu and Valkyrian females.
Ragnoir & Arulan: The same debate exists as to which of these nations harbors the most handsome males. Though the rivalry between these two nations are less subtle.
Ikuzu and Valkyria: A long question has existed in the minds of males since the dawn of time. Which is scarier when angry, an Ikuzu female or an Valkyrian female. Two brave individuals set out to find out long ago but their experiment was never completed. The last time they were seen was running and screaming from their respective wives homes. PSA no matter the nation do not suggest to your spouse that they might need to 'cut back on the snacks'.

Did you know: There was a time when there was a sixth nation in consideration. This comes from the fact that each nation corresponds a type of landmass. Arulan - Plains, Valkyria - Sky, Ragnoir - Forest, Ikuzu - Mountains and Serpentine - Desert. It was in consideration that the sixth nation lived deep in the sea and their unique trait was the ability to influence the weather. It was scrapped due to the fact that if this nation existed, Serpentine would have no problem with water if they requested the aid of this sixth nation.
