Gaia, its been years and you have missed this opportunity year in and year out. So, I say do this. Let us have the epic battle on this site. Besides which, i wouldn't mind seeing some npcs as pirates or ninjas.

Edit: As people have said, it is an over done cliche, but that doesn't mean it can't be done with a unique twist or however gaia does it. Also as some people suggested, it would give us some achievements people have wanted. The theme has + and - .

I can dig it. Simple and funny. I imagine some folk will turn up their nose at it, but we've had sillier premises for site battles.

I don't see why they shouldn't. We've done Angels vs. Demons which is another way over done thing too.

Besides it would give us the chance to get that Ninja title in an Achievement too.

when has that ever stopped Gaia though? Werewolves vs Vampires was done a thousand times, too. and Zombies vs Humans, and Angels vs Demons is probably THE most overdone thing.

Why not? As others have mentioned; it wouldn't be the only cliche/overdone concept Gaia has done.

answering everyone who's asked what started Pirates vs Ninjas -- I'm like 99% it was One Piece and Naruto, no lie

that being said, yes it's overdone
(but I'm also anime trash and a sucker for events so I'd be down.)
