So, I'm not sure if something like this already exists, but I've noticed a lot of fellow AT/DR-ers struggling to live in a post tek-tek era. Some helpful forum goers have given me a few tips along the way and I want to pass on these tips to other people. So, if you see someone who needs help or isn't sure of how to make a Customize Avatar and how they should post it, please link them here.

The New Basics
How To Get Started

First, go to your Customize page by clicking on your avatar in the Gaia header.

Select "All Gaia" and enter a search term or series of search terms (e.g., "purple bananas" )

Click on items, equip them, try different poses etc., and repeat this and the second step
as many times as necessary to build your or the contest holder's dream avi.

Next, click on "Outfits." Make sure you have at least one free spot!

Save the avatar as an outfit.
You won't be able to equip it again if you take it off, so keep that in mind.
Drag and drop or right click and save the thumbnail produced.

Once saved, 3 little squares appear.
The X deletes the outfit, the list shows you the items equipped,
and the $ lets you sell the outfit, but for our purposes
we will use it to get the estimated price.

You'll want to copy and paste these to make an item list for your "client".
If you're an especially good potato, you can include marketplace links.

EDIT 04/09/16 HOW TO SAVE THE IMAGE

1.) In your closet, drag the THUMBNAIL image to your desktop. this will make sure its the right size and not blurry.

2.) upload to an image hosting site like postimg.org, imgur, or photo bucket

3.) include the bbcode from the host site in your post to display the image!


And that's that!

That, i don't think you can do, unless you also own a copy. That's generally frowned upon anyway, but good point.

It is definitely possible to do if you do own a copy of it, though.
