Say goodbye to so many of your users, unless YOU can make something just as good, if not better. If it weren't for TekTek so many of us couldn't even make the avatars that we have. It has existed for so long, and the users here have used it for so long, I don't see why this is just now being considered an issue.On top of that, you guys were okay with it before? Your lovely welcoming fairy that occasionally visits even the oldest of users endorsed it.. Logic?

Exactly... this makes no sense... as long as it has taken them to fix simple issues, I don't think they will ever be able to make something as awesome as TekTek, even though it could be very flawed at times

Tektek. You know they aren't going to come

Yeah... especially with how long TekTek has existed... It takes Gaia ages to create small things, so programming something as great as TekTek seems unachievable o.o

I'm gonna say here what I said in the previous thread.

Tektek was a very helpful tool and I loved it,
but it was a site used by a lot of Gaians
and it advertised a different avatarsite
where the users have been poaching Gaians nonetheless.
I understand the action Gaia has taken, to me it does make sense.
Do I think it was a smart decision? No.
Do I think Gaia should replace it by giving us a way
to easily browse items by color, type, pose etc? Yes.
Do I believe Gaia should properly fix and add tags to items? Yes
FFS GAIA ITEMS ARE UNFINDABLE!
But I understand.

Tektek had a variety of other avatar site ads for years, and Tekton's site has already been up since April. Why is Gaia only acting now? What changed?

Also, the users on that site don't poach Gaians. They might joke, but the real joke is that 90% of them are from Gaia and they know it. I've never seen legitimate anger/teasing of Gaians on there, just of the BS Gaia itself has been pulling.

Yes, they are old Gaians poaching Gaians.
I know because I was active there about a year ago, when it was a month or so old.
I'm not anymore because it was like one big CB, not my kind of place.
But I saw them poach, successfully.

Again, what changed was the combination of poaching/advertising.
I have no doubt Gaia has been losing users in bulk since the inflation started,
and they need something or someone to blame it on.

Thank you for sharing that on here, I hope it will help some though... I think it is ridiculous that they asked for it to be removed.

Gaia has lost a lot of those people that threatened to leave. All you have to do is check the online numbers and the number of "guests" included in those numbers.
