First off, thanks to anyone who takes time out to read this and try to help. biggrin
So let's see...

Copy and pasted from DxDiag!

Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
System Model: p7-1534
BIOS: 8.14
Processor: AMD A8-5500 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 7576MB RAM
Page File: 2744MB used, 5231MB available
Windows Dir: C:WINDOWS

This has been going on since this morning...
And I know it's my computer because my sister uses our wifi as well and it works just fine for her.

I tried right clicking and trouble shooting, but it doesn't seem to sense any problem.

Try this:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-internet-explorer-proxy-server-settings#1TC=windows-7

Instead of configuring a Proxy Server, you will want to use the directions to verify if one exists. If so, disable it.

i would delete the wireless profile associated with the access point you connect to and re add it (you'll need to input the password again).

and if that didn't work i would reinstall the wireless card driver

It's d/cing less, but is pretty slow, so I'm unsure if any of these worked or not.

Everything is loading slowly and I keep d/cing in one of my online games...might be an improvement?

you could always try a usb wireless adapter. they're about 10 bucks and if it keeps acting up it may be a setting on your computer (firewall/antivirus/security suite/etc)

I'll check my firewall and etc first before resorting to buying something new.
Any idea how to check if it's that stuff or not?
That is, what steps should I take if you happen to know?
Also, update, it's d/cing again for sure...

UPDATE: Temp fix, moved it to my room where I can connect straight to the modem with an ethernet cable.
I'm assuming it's my adapter since this is working just fine, so perhaps I DO need to purchase a new one.
