That the characters you cited as female biblical "heroes" do not, in fact, serve the purpose for which you cited them - but serve the purpose *against* which you are arguing. That is, that the biblical culture tends to treat women as inferior (or subordinate) to men - which your examples, in their virtue, reinforce.

⊰ I find street preaching to be irritating (and in my town, occasionally 'in your face' as well), thus, I would find the opposite to be irritating as well. At least where I live, street preachers are being discouraged from doing the whole 'stand on a chair and shout at people as they walk past' thing, and instead have their own market stall where people have the choice to approach them if they are interested. ⊱
