Because the Americans swoon whenever they hear us speak.
Apparently, I just have it there so people from the U.S know I'm 6 hours ahead, so I'll probs be asleep.

Because it's different, and everyone expects Brits to speak like "Hello chap, would you like a cup of tea?" But no, everyone here speaks like a chav, almost everyone.
I don't, kinda.

a very small minority of britain speak in that accent, considering britain includes ireland, wales and scotland too
only if ur super posh and rich and from the south

which area are u from

Britain, to be specific Nottingham, near Sherwood Forest, where my homie Robin Hood lives.

i dont think ppl from the north can rly have chavvy accents tbh

but yes some american ppl are very proud of their nationality lol
but perhaps the reason why they dont show it off as much is because there are more american ppl on here so its not that big of a deal
whereas british, or greek/hungarian, or whatever other nationality isn't as common so i guess it's more special to be of a different nationality??
