Football is pretty damn fun...if i had the skill, i would play professional everyday....

it's a descendent of rugby football so that's probably why.

I don't get American football either. I live in Colorado and everyone here seems to be obsessed with the Denver Broncos.

football is a chess match where guys get hit
most of the enjoyment comes out of understanding the strategy behind it altho that's tru for p much any sport except maybe hockey because that's just unadulterated violence

there's strategy on how to score goals and keep the other team from scoring. it's basically like soccer but on ice and without pussies.

i think its more like team strategy that makes it interesting than individual achievement. each dude has to be in the right place to make sure the other dudes dont get to the dude with the ball

Each play is like an entire game of chess. You have 4 tries to get the ball past 10 yards. Did you people not learn in school, playing 2 hand touch??
