If you don't get a student loan then school will be pretty hard to pay for. It all depends on whether you can do work and school and how far away school is. I do not suggest private loans.

Try looking into scholarships so you don't have to pay anything back. I'd suggest financial aid of some kind like a grant but that depends if you qualify.

if you want debt then okay

This all depends on what you're going to school for, what your pay-out will be, and what benefits verses sacrifices you have with taking out a loan.

Personally, I think student loans are inevidable if someone is looking for a deeper career.

I'm in my career and I'll be paying off my loans for a good five to ten years. But it's worth it -- at least.

Student loans should be a last resort if you're unable to get grants, scholarships, etc.

Edit: If you decide to get a loan try focusing on paying the monthly interest (that slowly adds up overtime and it's not pretty).
