I FINALLY figured out traditional animation in Flash! I must say, it's a lot less messy than doing each drawing on a whole new sheet of paper. Opinions, critiques?

That would be great! I have been interested in flash animation for forever, I'm just not sure what programs I should look at using.

That would be great! I have been interested in flash animation for forever, I'm just not sure what programs I should look at using.

I use Adobe Flash from CS5. It does cost money, but it's reliable. I'm informed there is a program called GIMP which has many if not all of the features of Flash, and is available for free download. I'm also told it has pretty much the same interface.

This is so cool! The only critique I have is that the ending part transitions kinda choppy
compared to the beginning. Other than this, I like it tons. I also voted to move on to a
next project, and maybe try and color that one

Thank you both! I see what you mean about the transitions being choppy--I'll work to make my quick transitions more smooth.

I agree I could have made a little more content, i.e. having the mother actually walk in. Usually I do traditional animation and I was having a little difficulty transitioning into digital. Now that I'm a little more familiar, I'll work more on storytelling!

I also watch video tutorials by Draw With Jazza. He gives you a pretty clear idea on how to setup your scenes and how to do character rigging too.
