Huge stage, friend backing me on the drum set, another friend on cow bell, smoke machines, lights.
I had that crowd by the balls.

Mostly because it was made up primarily by males in their 30s and I'm a hot 21 year old girl, but you have to give me credit for my song choice. I went up there and sang Maiden perfectly without once looking at the monitor. Went up there, did some Bruce Dickinson stage moves (lots of pointing and holding my fist out in front of me), and ******** BELTED like it was the real goddamn thing.

I figured, hey, I'm at a for-rent recording room company's party, a lot of these guys are clearly metal heads, I'm going to go up there and do a song I know I can kill it with.

Yes, I air guitared that solo and nailed it.

I am a pretty terrible singer I'm sure, but god damn will I sing when drunk.

Karaoke was never my thing though, and I just cringe at myself trying.
