If you really want to keep it as a collectable I'm sure you can find a used copy for real cheep.
I've never really been the collector sort. Things are made to be used. Stories are meant to be told.A book that is not read might as well be blank.

Used copies are easily found at places such as Half Price Books in their clearance section for a dollar. Possibly not NOW, with Desolation just released, but I know I would see older copies just rotting in the clearance section for years. >>;

Though, there is one on ebay for about $100--opened.
But I wouldn't mind it being opened.
There is an unopened one selling for $200...

Ah, to answer your question, as other people have stated
you could pick it up from the library. Or find a pretty cheap copy at a
used bookstore. Or you can nose around in yard sales, Goodwill, or the Salvation Army.
