How to get a letter at The Letter Spot Incorporated
a step-by-step guide

Step 1: Look on the first page to see when the next scheduled sale will take place.

Step 2: Show up at the appointed time on the appointed day.

Step 3: Wait for the owner, Dragnus, or one of the lackeys, Fat Faygo Lover or Rancid Cow Disease, to announce the beginning of the sale.
Example: I have 20 letters. Who wants one?

Step 4: Quickly ask for a letter.
Example1: Oh great and powerful, yet benevolent, Dragnus. This humble one bows their unworthy head and formally requests that you be willing to part with a letter for my meager offering of 2000 gold.

Example 2: I want one.

Example 3: I do.

Example 4: Me.

I hope you get the point.

Step 5: Wait for the end of sale announcement.

Step 6: Wait for the posting of the List of Buyers.
List created based on first 20 to ask for a letter. If you posted a comment but did not ask for a letter (see above examples) you will not be on the list.

Step 7: Look at the list. See if your name is on it.

Step 8: If your name is on the list, send a trade for 2000 gold to Dragnus. Always send gold to Dragnus, even when Fat Faygo Lover or Rancid Cow Disease are running the sale.

Step 9: Smile. You just got a letter for 2K.

Step 10: Come back for the next sale.

Here are a few rules to abide by.

Rule 1: Don't PM me. You will be ignored. Keep doing it and you will be banned.
Rule 2: 1 letter per customer. Don't beg. It's just annoying.
Rule 3: You can only ask for a letter for yourself. No asking for someone else. [Note 1]
Rule 4: Don't abuse me or other visitors. That will be grounds for immediate banning.
Rule 5: No advertising in my shop without permission. It's just rude.
Rule 6: No flaming, ever.
Rule 7: Don't ask me to reserve anything for you. I will not.
Rule 8: Only request letters for the current month. I only go on a month to month basis. I do not deal with past or future months. Check the Letter Association for that. (Look in the affiliates post.)

Note 1: While you can ask for a letter and later give it to someone else, you can not say, "I want a letter for NightBreed." If you are not NightBreed, you can't ask for his/her letter. NightBreed must ask for it themself.

Things to consider. Policies to live by.

1. Bookmark this page.
2. Check to see when letters will be available. (I will try to let you know at least 3 days in advance.)
3. Check to see how many letters are available.
4. Post that you want a letter when the thread is opened and I have posted that it is ok to post.
5. Only ask once a month. I will only sell to each user once per month to be fair to others.
6. Watch for my post that tells who gets a letter.
7. Send trade. I will not inform you in a pm or otherwise if you get a letter aside from the aforementioned post.
8. Send trade within 3 days. After that the letter goes back in as a sellable.
9. Watch out for "SPECIAL 1000 GOLD DAYS!" From time to time I will sell letters for as low as 1000 gold, maybe less, because I feel like it.
10. Watch for free letter raffles. I have had 500 gold raffles where the winners win 500 gold for free, so I decided to hold a raffle where the prize is a letter. Why? Why not? Because I can. I'll amuse myself the way I see fit.
