Anna isn't what you would call the perfect princess. She has a temper, doesn't like being told what to do, and speaks her mind. She doesn't care for music lessons or being taught how to sit and look pretty, instead demanding she be allowed to ride her horse how she pleased (because you can't ride a horse full gallop in a dress and sitting side-saddle) and sitting in on discussions of war. Ann likes her opinions, and isn't afraid to argue her points. The very idea that she will not only marry an arrogant cur, but be one of three wives, enrages her. She would rather leap from the tallest tower in her kingdom than call him her husband or her king.
