emo I get scared to easly by the most dumbest things like for a sample : screamers on videos or links......normal people get scared and laugh and move on.....I will be scared for 2 days straight....same for gore things my sister is 13 and she saw a beheading without being scared....I just want to click videos without being scared for somethign scary ;n; I wanbt to know how to be less scared.... OTL

Pft, I'm scared of everything in that sense too. I just avoid it instead of trying to force myself to become acquired to it or something. Makes my life a lot happier.

Reassure yourself that it is not real. emo i'm very scared and tbh have yet to find a way to help besides when watching a scary movie I hold on to a friend and cover my head with a blanket for freaky parts. From one movie I watched back in April i'v been having to sleep with my laptop on each night crying

Lots of exposure and learning how they made all the effects/details might help. xp

I had to go through the procedure of how cadavers were processed and all before I was allowed to view. Before that I felt uncomfortable, but after learning it and seeing them it was quite a humbling experience. Knowing how things work makes you feel less nervous.

I'm the same way with screamers, probably the exact opposite with gore though.

Last summer, I happened to fall for a fake screamer Facebook page that was a promotion for a flash game called The House 2. I happened to fall for like three screamers after that too. The next morning, I felt okay when I woke up, but then I got on Gaia and listened to some song called 'Hamburger Lady' by Throbbing Gristle, and even though it was a song I would usually adore, for some reason I was terrified of it, and for the next three days nonstop, I was feeling the worst fear of my life. I couldn't even look through my sketchbook (I like to draw surreal horror), my Tumblr page, or into any mirrors. To this day I don't know what caused that overload.
