Try watching Hetalia Axis Powers and Hetalia World Series. My friends used the stuff on those to write their AP History essays, and they got 7/9!! (that's basically an A. A 9/9 is a 200%.) Also, it's very entertaining and is great for fan-girling over! <3 Hetalia!! heart
