Races and Groups
Humans
Jocks- The sports stars who get whatever they want. Most of them are stuck up and air-headed but there are some who actually care about life and other peoples feelings... maybe one or two of them still exist.
Preps- The name brand wearing sassy and rich people who spend their free time partying and getting wasted. They live and thrive on drama and rumors. They think they're better than everyone and since most of them are on student counsel or leaders of clubs they run every aspect of the school they can.
Freaks- The quiet people who don't like to party or go out for sports or join clubs. Most dress in a different manner. Here if you're different then you're a freak no questions asked. And you are usually kicked around some.
Geeks- The smart kids who usually are forced to do the popular crowds homework or something in exchange for not getting beat up. They stay in their own little sanctuary in the school library. There are rumors that they're started a rebellion.
Hunters- Though very much human, this elite group is extremely skilled and talented. They have been raised as hunters of the immortal races by tradition, in case a rise of the immortals should come again. They are smart resourceful and extremely dangerous.
Immortals
Vampires~
They are beautiful pale human like creatures who need Human blood to survive and cannot go out into the sun unless they wear a special protective necklace. If they go into the sun they start to burn. Most of them are secretive and stay away from the spotlight, but they like to have fun.
Shape Shifters~ They are born with two spirits inside them. One human and the other an animal. When they reach the age of 15 to 18 they have the power to transform on their own free will. But on nights of a full moon they are forced to painfully transform into a killer. They have some anger problems and if they're not properly trained they transform without warning.
Witches~ For the most part witches are humans only with extraordinary powers. They don't need wands because most of their powers are generated from their immortal souls. They chant simple spells that can make almost anything happen. Most of what they learn has been handed down to them from the 1500's. They blend in with society with ease.
Nightcrawlers~ The most dangerous type of immortal. They are creatures who have no defined shape. They can take the shape of any person or animal they see, giving them the perfect camouflage in any situation. They also have the power to sneak into others dreams and manipulate them. They are the immortal pranksters. They LOVE to cause trouble.
