Welcome to Gaia! ::

I'm going to pretend that the majority of you aren't idiots and ask a math related question. Tomorrow I'm attempting to teach a friend of mine ab calc for her ap exam in May. The thing is I'm in linear algebra at the moment and ab is far far behind me. I understand that there are functions Calc students should be able to recognize, draw, and compose at the drop of a hat and I would like to teach her those. The problem lies in the fact that as a LA student I have an intimate relationship with dozens of graphs a calculus student probably doesn't need to know. (tl;dr) So I'm asking you GD, What functions do you think are most important for a calc student ro recognize?
Schoolboy Spencer
y=mx+b
Really? lol
uhhhh.
derivatives - product rule, quotient rule, chain rule, transcendental functions, trig
Integrals - same stuff, just backwards
Good grief. I did calc in high school but have forgotten almost everything. Except how to derive and integrate.... redface
fresh with you

I asked for functions not concepts x.x; sweatdrop e.g. y = lnx
