If you really think about it anime is basically the Japanese word for cartoons. So the real question would be, "When are you too old for Japanese cartoons?" My answer, never! You're never too old to be watching cartoon shows. And honestly, some anime is geared toward adults and should not be seen by children. Think Akira or Death Note. That was some pretty intense stuff.

Eh...hard to say since I'm almost 21 and still enjoy anime.
Been watching anime for about 12-13 years now.
I guess my anime interest won't go away for a long time.
