Hey there!

I draw, I can't say I'm a pro, but I'm rather good at it.
I'd like to try coloring my drawings using any software, so anyone can suggest some programs?

there GIMP, open canvas, and photoshop, although if your into anime and stuff, maybe manga studio or SAI would be good.

Photoshop is good and if you are a student take advantage of that student price!! It's waaaaay cheaper if you do! I have Corel Painter, its pretty good but definitely not the best but a lot of times you can get a deal package where you get a tablet and painter for a cheaper price. <<again this also goes down if you are a student (college only though for student price?) I think my tablet & painter package was around $200 student price?
