I don't understand why everone is upset they broke up.It was bound to happen.Gerard Way was doing his own stuff anyway.

To be honest, Danger Days was kind of an indication that they were running out of ideas. Danger Days was an okay album, but really lacked the whole emotion of the previous albums. I'm sad that they broke up, i really hoped that they would continue making music as MCR. I hope that Gerard, along with the others, do make their own stuff though. Gerard Way and Deadmau5 collaboration was absolutely amazing....

He wants to stay home and spend more time with his daughter.He also has been doing comic books.He had some problems and now he's gaining his weight back and staying busy.I watched an interview he did with Kevin Smith.It was pretty interesting.

Which is fair enough. He won't have time for touring internationally if he has a daughter to take care of. He'll want to be there while she grows up biggrin

Ive been an MCR fan since I was in 8th grade in 06'. and now that they broke up, it sucks :/

I only got to see them live once...on their Black Parade tour.(which was facking awesome btw)

Ok. So tonight, my friend came over. He said he knows a girl who always goes backstage to meet bands.

When MCR was still around, the girl met them. Gerard told her they'll be back next year!

Okay, so this is really late (I never really hung out here at forums) and yes, I was completely sad that MCR broke up. They were AMAZING. But I guess I'm okay with it overall. A lot of bands have broken up and whatnot. If they do get back together, yay! If not, well, it's not going to stop me from listening to their songs!

I still can't believe MCR is gone. I never got to see them live.

Did anyone get a reply from Gee? I'm sending out my fan letter soon, and I'm scared that he'll never get back to me.

So glad I got to see them live before the breakup. Even if it was an arena show and not any of the official tours.

I'm pretty sure the brothers will do something else amazing together (at least I really hope so).
