Gaia online had moved to a new database handling system on the 14th so we can scale up and meet the demands of our growing community. Unfortunately, even after testing, the new database system still had bugs which caused some severe damage to the many user's accounts.

Most of the major bugs had been fixed, however the only way to restore the thousands of damaged accounts is to perform a rollback.

As of this morning, everyone's account had been rolled back to their original state as of July 14th, 2:30pm.

We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience that this might have caused.

For those who had lost items or gold, please note the following:

Donation items - All donation items lost during the rollback period will be automatically recovered

Store items - Gold will be recovered to users who bought items from the stores during the rollback period through automatic scripting also. Due to the large number of transactions being made, we cannot gaurantee that everyone's gold will be fully recovered.

Items traded - Please contact the owner of the item and trade again if you have lost a traded item.

As of 10:30pm today, all user gold that were spent at the stores and salon had been recovered. All mail donation items had been restored also.

If you had received a donation item during the rollback period but have not yet received your item, please write to us again through the feedback form. We'll respond to your problem ASAP. 3nodding
