Starting today, there's a more advanced way to see how much GOLD you're earning on Gaia!
Gold Notification
See that gold coin image under your username and gold amount in the top right corner of the page? Now, if you do something on Gaia like post in the forums or surf around, you'll find out how much gold you just earned and how you earned it.
For example, you might see something like: You got 4 gold for voting in the Gaia Arenas for voting in the Avatar Arena.
If you click on the gold coin image, you'll be taken a page that tells a few ways you can earn gold and where you can spend it.
What's changed?
You can turn it on and off
If you want to turn off the gold notification, go to:
MyGaia > Account > scroll down to Gold Notification

It's now more noticable that you get gold from activity you might not have noticed before, like surfing, leaving comments in profiles, voting in arenas, and commenting in journals.
You get gold from sending PMs now!
There's a slight gold bonus for your first post every day, but after that, the amount of gold you get should taper off just like before. 3nodding
