Salutations, Gaians!
It has been a busy month for us here at Gaia HQ, and we wanted to provide you all with a bit of insight about how things are going. As you may know, Gaia is currently in the middle of a transition period, with the return of lanzer and a number of other former staff members. We've been listening to your feedback and concerns, and we'd like to thank you for your continued support and interest in improving the Gaia Online experience.
Although we're still in the middle of this transition period, we feel it's important to take some time to let you all know that we encourage you to keep telling us what you are looking for out of Gaia. While not all feedback will be implemented, we will take it into consideration as a possibility. We want to hear it!
While it's going to take some time, we are in the midst of stabilizing the Gaia economy as well as the Gaia business, and patching up some active features. Our goal is to make Gaia a more fun environment to be involved in for everyone, and we'd also like to provide more benefits to our yearly and monthly supporters that are making these strides possible. There are exciting new things coming on the horizon, so keep logging in, keep checking it out, and keep offering your feedback!
With that said, even with a change in who owns the company, Gaia is yours. As we travel the seas unknown, you, as an individual, are helping to steer the ship. Not only is this a place to hang out, but it's a place to be unique and share that uniqueness with others. The community is the foundation of this place that we call "home", and it wouldn't be here without your creations and your participation. From the smallest contribution of a bump post in the Chatterbox, to the artists that produce art from the multitude of possible avatars, to the biggest one of investing in our virtual products; your unending support keeps Gaia the amazing place that it is. It's far more amazing today than what we could have ever dreamed in 2003.
Now we have a new goal to hit. We, the staff and the community, have the opportunity to make our world better. We cannot express how excited and thankful we are that you, as a Gaian, are here to play a part in the continued development. If you have any suggestions moving forward, please let us know!
For now, thank you all for your continued involvement in and support of Gaia Online, and we look forward to bringing you an even better Gaia experience in the future!
