Because Farmville got annoying after a while and needed a bunch of friends to do stuff.
In SS I get cuter characters and a better story.

i had been playing farmville but summer springs has way better graphics and a story/characters (and farmville was getting too much like you had to have 6474589489 friends to do any of the quests).

Yeah, this. I like farming games, but ugh some of them are so grindy and push you to either have a lot of friends or buy cash items. At least SS gave you some free cash.
