I was wonderin what are the Soul Cubes for? I mean after the quest there should be a reason why we keep collecting them?

If I were a betting man, which I'm not, I'd say they're going to be used for crafting. That being said, it could also be something very simple like a way for new players to get soul cubes early on without having to beat the grunts, or a way for Gaia Interactive to make money off of that first quest for the new players with disposable income.
