try to clear your internet cache?

have you be bidding in marketplace? because when someone outbid you you'll get back your gold 3nodding

But I don't know what an Internet Cache is.

Tools => Internet Options => Clear History

Also while you are at it you might as well delete cookies and Files, but they are not the cache. Depending on when the last time you cleared it it could take a while so do not panic.
